I just realized: This is the first Bethesda game with faces and animations that actually look realistic.

New video out from E3, its from the panel they hosted the day after their conference. Mostly Todd Howard talking about why details matter. Not sure yet if there are spoilers or not.
Graphically, this game seems amazing. It's been a lot since we had 2d animations, and few of them, in an isometric shape, until this.

Some new footage for sure. I saw an art shot of something like simulation pods(?) in a victorian decorated room (@ 47 seconds). Wonder what the heck that is? Cryo pods maybe? Simulation?
I'm thinking since we're in the land of the Institute, and due to peripheral contact, that pre-war folks might have been playing around with random high technology, and we'll be finding it in obscure and really weird places...like a 200 year old Victorian decorated home of a pre-war rich person. It'll will induce our curiosity and be nightmarishly deadly at the same time.
Yeah, I'm thinking Tranquility Lane and Vault 112.
i'm thinking that's the Memory Den from the reveal trailer
I hope those cities are as big as they look like.
But I bet they're using clever camera angles like they did for Skyrim.

Duh. Expect them to feel small, closed off and dead. Unless they finally removed loading times to go into cities then just expect them to feel dead.

I think they cut down on loading screens and we should be able to enter buildings etc without them.
I can't remember where I heard that , though.

I hope so. That's one of my largest complaints with Bethesda game. And NV obviously.
Loading time to enter a city doesn't bother me as much as how sparse the populaton is.
What is going on with Arefu and the Republic of Dave?

Anyone else notice they're using chopsticks to eat their ramen? ![]()

Pretty sure i read the same thing, or heard. Think it was one of the first interviews Todd did after E3 or at E3. You can enter most buildings in the world without a loading screen, but some zones still require loading. We'll see how open it is. I hope we can explore everything and go up on rooftops and stuff like that.

They are live-blogging the Quakecon demo now. So if you wanna read a bunch of text about what they show, go ahead.

Considering that we're getting jetpacks, it's a fair guess that Bethesda will put a little more effort into high elevations and rooftops.
Looks like they showed mostly combat stuff. Didn't miss out on to much then.

Spoiler
Of course they will be. Bethesda has only done a small hand full of good companions and I don't think that will stretch to 10.
So is the dog romanceable yet?
