NISA names?
I was thinking dsfsnfjsknfsfnsdjfnskjfn but i'm sure one of those abominations would work too.

No... it would be weird to have them winning.
FO4 needs dem DAO sex scenes clearly. Granny panties for all.
*vomits everywhere*
Oh god the thought of Bethesda doing sex animations.
COULD YOU IMAGINE?
I wonder if it would reach so bad it's good territory.
Doesn't matter. Had sex.
Just go for a load of gibberish. Not hard.
Thats cheating lol
Hmmm......Skills rolled up with perks. Well, not sure that's just sort of throwing a verbal bone, or more of an indicator that FO4 leveling is going function more like Skrim and ESO. That's the direction they've been heading in.
...Oh my gosh, I just thought of this...when we level do we get a point to raise a SPECIAL attribute? Because in Skyrim and ESO you get a point to plow into Health, Stamina, or Magicka...not the same architecture in FO.
So, if we get a point to raise a SPECIAL attribute (we start out with 28 points [I think] to alot -- less than previous games), that only leaves 42 more points to alot in order to max out SPECIAL stats (assuming 10 max point per).
You see what I've getting at? Now the race becomes merely to max out you SPECIAL stats, so you can take most perks. If we don't alot a point to something at the level screen, then what mechanism is used? Do we just go to perks? That's awfully streamlined for FO.
Humm, that would actually leave 7 special points for no use. The level cap is 50 right?
I admit I don't like this change. But I'll wait to see it in actual gameplay to give it an proper judgment.
Well at 3:11 - 3:31 is our second confirmed companion for those people who didn't read the article on QuakCon (posted a few pages back). It doesn't reveal anything of the character, however, the voice acting seems to be pretty good so far (although there hasn't been a whole lot shown as of yet). Hopefully, Bethesda actually creates a game with a good story and characters.
What GameInformer article is this that supposedly says skills are out?

It was confirmed by Bethesda at Quakecon.
The article isn't really definitive on that...it only says that "We have combined the previous skill system into this as well" when talking about the perk system.

I hope we will be able to keep track of all the companions. But, just reading on Piper, I believe they'll have a set place that they'll stay at. I'm really looking forward to the characters and open world, but mostly the protagonist.

Skills did not appear in the pipboy, plus we have that comment. I don't know what more you want, it's pretty dam clear.
If Peter Molyneux was marketing this game, all of the marketing would be about the dog.
*Good ol' Doc Mitchell possessed*

Don't do Jet, kids. ![]()

Maybe Todd Howard has to punch a baby?

If it was being marketed by Mike Laidlaw we'd be hearing about the "awesome button", while the fans would be asking if we could romance the dog.

I can just see the slides now...

i have to say, i hated skills in the previous games, that race to get my lockpicking, science and speech up to 100 before reaching the important parts of the game annoyed the hell out of me, i felt gimped if i didnt have at least one of those up to 100 before leaving Goodsprings so i'm happy they are out
So, here's a minor thought, if we still have skill mags in the game, what are they supposed to level.
Oh you know...
So, here's a minor thought, if we still have skill mags in the game, what are they supposed to level.
Skill books will probably give skill-perk ranks, and skill mags will probably boost those skill-perks for a short time. Similar to how you could boost your enchanting or blacksmithing in Skyrim with the use of potions.
EDIT - http://www.ausgamers...es/read/3526651more info from Quakecon and a small interview with Pete Hines, worth reading.
