Angry Birds made a mint too... let's start throwing mudcrabs at towers of deathclaws.

Don't give Howard any ideas.

For me it's less about building for the sake of building, it will most likely be the first few times I play all about building the perfect base for what I will need for the rest of my playthrough. Similar to where I wouldn't buy a common gun in NV until I knew of a merchant I could get at least 1 mod if it was applicable.

For instance I bought the Anti-Mat rifle for going though and killing all the legendary enemies, and I didn't leave the front of Gun Runners until I had all 3 mods for it.

Later on in other playthroughs I might start to experiment with it, if I find it worth messing with at all.

Oh my gosh, I can't tell you how many hours I spent waiting at Gunrunner's just waiting for the RNG to produce all three Antimateriel Rifle (GRA) mods. It was a long time...and I still gave up on the silencer, until I finally got it at the end of the game. Later on, I just went ahead modded them all in.

I feel your pain. At least now, it seems it'll be on us to have the requisite perks and materials to craft the mod.

Please...... The first thing I will do is to start to build my empire, and now that we have romances, I will find my queen!

This makes me a little sad. For humanity.

I wouldn't exactly call that an lazy approach to the matter considering you do have to work to build this settlement that would provide you supplies. So it's not like you get everything for free without effort.

I'm not saying it is lazy. I'm saying other games do such concepts much better because that's the entire purpose of the game.

After a while you just begin to notice when pre release stuff smells like bullshit based on what developers don't tell you or imagining what you would do in that situation. Like say that bit in the trailer where the player told dogmeat to pick an item. In reality it would have been faster just to walk over there and pick it up yourself. Stuff like that.

Are you saying that an announcement for a game is full of new features that can come off as gimmicks? That is a surprise. Truth is we don't quite know yet how it will play out in the game, most likely it will be Hearthstone 2.0, but we can still be surprised by it.

Well of course. Do you know how many bugs there are that Bethesda never provides a fix for?

No, why don't you tell me? I have played every Bethesda game without unofficial patches without them beeing broken or anything like that.

There is alot of glass is half empty people and opinions in here.

Yes. Look at Assassin's creed games for a perfect example. It adds a hook shot allowing you to quickly get vertical. Essentially just removing all the skill required to get up there.

"Skill required"

I think you mean "holding up on the thumbstick".

Well finding the fastest way up was the part that required skill. Not necessarily the actual climbing itself.

Here is a list of the change-log of just the Skyrim Unofficial patch without any of the DLCs.

Holy ****. Some of those are ridiculous stuff that should never have made the final release

Like the Caravans siding with Forswarn.

Based on those Patch Notes, there are over 19,000 bugs documented (and fixed?).

The scariest thing is that Skyrim is probably Bethesda's most stable mainstream release ever.

It did have the most patches. It's definitely not as bad as the PS3 version of NV where the game will die a slow death if you play it to much.

Skyrim on PS3 suffered from the same problem which is why it has a low user metacritic score for the PS3 version. I recall the problem being that you could not continue playing after 50 hours in a save.

One can only imagine how such a glaring obvious bug made it into the final release. Oh right...

I really wish I worked for the bug testing team of Obsidian, Bethesda, Ubisoft or Lionhead. You're literally paid to spend the money you're paid on cocaine and hookers. I'll be like a politician, except I'm not important enough for anyone to bother video taping me snorting cocaine off of a hooker's boobs.

Yeah it did. Though they fixed it eventually. NV still has that problem.

My game play would get choppy after about 40 hours of playing on the ps3. I deleted a few of my saves for that character making a big difference so I was able to play a lot longer without any problems
