dont worry there are different ammo types, from the E3 presentation pipe rifles use .38, assault rifles - 5.56, the 10mm pistol obviously uses .22 ammo....oh wait....,revolvers (and revolver rifles) use .45, all laser weapons now have a single ammo type however plasma is now separate, and the junk jet fires teddy bears

Then I realized if they do give you the ring, I would sell it for the 2 caps its worth to the first vendor I run into.
I would melt the ring down to make a bullet
