Wait a second they're getting rid of Skills?
**** this **** I'm out.
You didn't know? They are integrated into perks. So some perks have ranks. I think there are 70 base perks and with ranks its about 270 options or so. So well you need level 270 to get everything, which wont happen seeing as the soft cap for lvling is probably 50 as it was in Skyrim.

Skyrim has no soft cap, with legendary skills you can level indefinitely, hell i got to lvl 80 only by smithing

It sort of has a soft cap. After level 50 it takes alot of skills to continue to level up, and yes you can make skills legendary, but we know this system won't be implemented in Fallout 4 because it doesn't make sense there. So if you are playing a Skyrim game without doing legendary skills (which i never use anyway) the soft cap is 50, everything after that is a slow grind.

a "soft cap" represents the maximum lvl you can reach if you collect all the XP in the game, and since Skyrim doesnt have a maximum XP it also doesnt have a soft cap ![]()

Skyrim doesn't have actual XP. Only an skill bar that increases while you practice such skill.

Fair enough, but through lvling skills you get more experienced in using that skill, so it is some sort of experience!

So apparently i just saw a youtube video that states that fallout shelter is preparing us for Fallout 4 settlement building and some guns & armor you find actually is coming from Fallout 4.
I thought people would like to know that Fallout Shelter is actually prepping us for Fallout 4 lol

Oooh ohhh are we talking about bethesda AI? I love bethesda's AI. Getting stuck in rivers repeatedly jumping in and getting back out on their own side, not attacking you because this one area is apparently out of reach despite you punching them in the face, enemies with bows switching to melee against a ranged character because you smack them with your bow, allied AI that blow themselves up. Bethesda AI is amazing.
I was all with you on this until you said "allied AI blowing themselves up" Thats the only bad thing about it lol, I don't mind the enemy AI being stupid but my ally AIs gotta be smart lol.

its theirs needs, apparently you can see that happening when you are building the settlement. it having the same type of bar like in Shelter.
Also radiation affecting you in Shelter being the same in Fallout 4.

Just to add to the Deathclaw discussion. I am level 26 in FONV atm. Melee build with power armor, got the Oh Baby super sledge and just went out to get the Remnants power armor which is guarded by like 30 deathclaws, two mothers and an alpha aswell. I am playing on very hard and this is the result of my fight. Hardcore mode, used like 10 stimpaks and some chems, but it was easier than expected, harder than Fallout 3 though. Hoping they will add this and more insane fights in FO4.

I'm really happy with how they're handling power armour now. I can't wait to gear up in my Power Armour and jump straight into a deathclaw nest with a mini-gun and hopefully super sledge. Since enemies can now initate a grab like attack, I can only imagine how epic the battles are going be, especially against patriarch and matriarch deathclaws, hopefully their AI won't eat ass.

Got my steam controller ordered. Will be delivered on november 10th, same day fallout releases.
I don't know if jumping right into this with a completely new and very different controller is a good idea. Prolly gonna use my xbox controller first.
But at the same time, I really want to finally try out those touchpads. Decisions decisions.
