Twig, the sole survivor. Sounds like a crazy man, which is right up my alley. Lol we can explore the ruins of the town.  :P

They better record it now then!!

Did you watch Fallout: Nuka Break, Cespar? :) I know it's non-canon, but Vault 10 is filled with overweight people because their only drink is Nuka Cola. Well, Twig is a Vault Dweller from Vault 10, and one of the main characters from the show. You are right, though, Twig sounds like a good name for a crazy man, especially if he's crazy about guns and explosive. :P

Indeed, they better.

I don't know if I'll use pistols.. my last NV dude was a pistol guy. Then my FO3 dude was really science/sci-fi based.

Oh I saw that Knight Helmet. . .I'll be making some delusional guy thinking he's a knight, and just goes around smacking Raiders with his sword of justice (which is just a bladed pistol he beats people with. . .JUSTICE!). If he does fire off a random shot, it will have been a strike from the gods themselves, smiting his foes! Probably won't have any replacement ammunition. . .or he thinks he's putting capsules of holy water in his sword somehow. . .I don't know. JUSTICE!

. . .and he'll travel with WCA's Twig. CONFIRMED BROFORCE.

. . .Pistol Whip basically just means to whack people with a pistol.
AND I WILL SOLVE ALL WASTELAND DISPUTES WITH PISTOL WHIPPING.

Yeah HA. Joshua Graham had a Whippin' pistol.

I only hope we can dual wield. Then we can have a whippin' pistol in one hand and a baseball bat with nails -NAILS- in the other. Then you just beat the $#!+ out of people before they can even start disputin'.

I like the way you think. The only thing better than that, would be the ability to throw some flame on people.

Give me a link and I'll watch it. Too bad you can't get fat in the Fallout games, because I would do that all the time.  :P  I'm usually about shotguns and shotguns, lol. No men can withstand me if I've a shotgun in my hand.

Something just came to mind. Does the game take place exactly 200 years after the bombs hit? That's the time Fallout 3 is set. Will F4 make references to the ongoing events?

It also means the Enclave will probably be around.

As I assumed, the VO system came from them wanting to shift to a more dynamic/interactive dialogue system, which I don't really blame them on as the system in FO3/FONV was really stiff and especially in the latter you could at times feel them struggling with it.

Overall, I really liked what I saw and, to me personally, I really like that the PC will be someone and seemingly their story is going to be really tied to the main storyline in a more personal manner.

I didn't think it was stiff at all in New Vegas? Plenty of dialogue options, some that even required stat checks, I don't see the larger point of a dynamic cinematic dialogue wheel in a game that isn't trying to be an rail-roaded train of set pieces like BioWare's Mass Effect. But whatever.

Perhaps the player had no skills at that point? Perhaps they went the skyrim route of 'training' skills through use, and since the player has no such skills yet none are featured?

You're probably right, at least I hope so. It won't be a deal breaker if they did away with them, but it would be a disappointment.

There you go.  ;) Maybe in the next game you can, I can imagine most of my characters getting fat with that habit of eating and drinking almost everything he finds. I'm fine with anything, well maybe not too keen on energy weapons. But those Deathclaw can withstand anything.

Took a look at what has been shown. It looks quite alright -- The customization is nice so I imagine I'll enjoy that, don't care for having a voice but that's that. It looks quite good.

Wait, there's no skill system and you have to trigger crticials? Why?

I am thinking that perks will be more focused on boosting certain stats. So you have one path for small guns, and one for energy weapons and so on. Might even make perks alot more interesting. The skill system in Fallout 3 was broken, but mostly because we had to many points, they could have just nerfed it. So i am abit skeptical on that. Not sure on criticals though, maybe luck lets you stack up %, and you can try to unleash the crit whenver you want? At 5% or 100% etc. Just to make it abit more, can i risk this, or should i save it. Alot of mechanics here that could be really interesting. All of these questions will be answered in November when we play this beast!

There've been rumors of this for awhile now, given that a certain Doctor and family friend goes to the Commonwealth and the Institute now located in MIT, the creation center for Androids.

Its assumed we'll see more of all those figures 11-10-15. ;)

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I will be honest, I don't feel very connected to a voiced protagonist with the predetermined background. I rather want a silent protagonist with indeterminate background and several dialogues you can pick to shape your character's personality, as it's easier to roleplay. I just prefer it that my character is a silent protagonist in Bethesda's games, as it let you really BE the character. That said, I have nothing against voiced protagonist, and I'm satisfied with what I've seen...I can't wait for November 10th 2015.

Oh believe me I feel the same but at this point I'm just so used to it at this point I'm meh. I'm so done being being upset at this point. I just can't anymore. I'll just hope they don't screw it up too much.

The biggest problem with the FO3 skill system would be largely fixed by finding another use for Intelligence, as putting 9 into it gives you way too many skill points. Even New Vegas did okay by cutting the amount of skill points from INT in half.

The other half of it is being careful about max level extensions via DLC.

Still, I liked how they did the perk system in Skyrim as a whole so we'll see where this goes for FO4.

So does the character customization scene confirm the protaognist's either straight or bisexual?

Yeah, i quite frankly will be ok if they cut the skill system. Give me perks that are more interesting and i actually have to think more about which i am going to choose. And ofc base some on your special stats and some on your level and others on perks already taken. That is just my preference though. Did you notice that in the gameplay bit he climbed into the power armor? Like it is a vehicle? It also had its own hud, i thought that was freaking brilliant!

You are either straight or bisexual, seeing as you have a kid with another person at the start of the game. How perks will work into choices we can make, like black widow, chez la femmes etc, we'll see. I don't think player sexuality is something Bethesda is very focused on to be honest.

Oh, don't get me wrong, Ryzaki. I'm not upset about Fallout 4's PC is being voiced and have a a predetermined background. I just prefer that my character in Bethesda's RPG games is a silent PC with indeterminate background. While I'm satisfied about everything else, I too hope they don't screw it up too much...voiced PC is worried some for quest mods.
