Sure is odd how your wife/husband is pretty much the what if protagonist of the game. I don't have much hope for them considering how James ended.

The real question is... if you find your husbando/waifu, can you pimp them out in the Wastes?
These are the real issues!!!

Oh, I don't doubt for a minute that there will be a mod to fill that little niche.

Edited: I still remember the dialogue between you and the director after beating the game. Yo, I heard about what you did to the Enclave you just took em all one after the other, you blew them all and saved us.

Unless some crazy **** is going on they're dead. Everyone in the vault died except for you, and it's been 200 years.

Androids. *flails*
I'd it strange for them to let us mold both of their faces just to not have the other character not appear again.

Can't wait for the uproar when the game "forces me to be straight" bit kicks in.

They dont plau games you silly git. no this was the Bethesda Forum and they are complaining about the Females Job. you know that thing that may get a passing refference.
Brilliant!!!
Man wants to preorder FO4 with thousands of Bottle Caps.
Assuming FO4 keeps the same exchange rate of ten bottle caps per pre-war money, the estimated 2240 bottle caps should be sufficient payment even with comparatively low barter skill.
Let's hope he succeedes the Charisma/Speech check with Bethesda PR.
In Scotland 1 Irn-Bru bottle is 30p so im buying it that way.

Absolutely. Or, have a deep recipe menu, that let's us make things like a weapon binding ritual that rewards us for plowing points into Survival or some other such skill.
it should let you make use of those bloddy leg braces you see laying arround..

Oh. I suppose she could be an soldier. Especially if speculation that the protagonist has power armor training from the army is true.

Well the brace is a component of crafting the Doctor's Bag...so, at least is useable for limb recovery, if not directly.
Question remains though, will we be able to craft consumables and ingestibles? I mean, we can build a friggin' city, and a palatial estate, but all I really want to know is if I can make myself a doctor bag, etc., or hell, a cup a joe!

Not convinced they are dead. I can't imagine them going through the trouble of making the baby look like you and your wife/husband for it to die in the first 5-10 minutes or so of the game. Just seems like a really odd thing to do. In fact i can't imagine them letting you have a baby at all without it playing some sort of role in the story, just seems like a waste of time.

It is probably why they don't want to talk about any of the story elements. Which is very nice, i rather it be a surprise.

It might be cool if the spouse is alive, and they become a companion shortly after leaving the Vault you can adjust the skills of as you level up(or they do).

It would certainly be different. Most games out there have you as a teen/twentysomething with no family.

However I'm not sure I like the idea considering I usually play a lesbian Courier(I don't remember what I do in F3, I should probably go play it sometime in the next few months), and I wouldn't really like if that were the case of the game killing decisions like that.
But a customizable companion always interested me.

You can grow crops, I'm certain we aren't stuck with just eating it right off the vine/bush/stalk/Brahmin butt/ETC. ![]()

Something tells me that the Vault-Tec guy you meet at first has something to do with it. There was something off about him.......

Would love to see a Hardcore mode too (since we're talking about consumables).

I'm going off the assumption that the Spouse will become a companion at some point in the game, which is why I'm going to spend a stupid amount of time customizing them.

Same. Hardcore mode, better crafting and ironsights is essentials that had to be brought in from New Vegas. So far we've seen the latter. Just Hardcore mode left now.
