Pretty much expected, but not officially confirmed:
-BoS East Coast Faction
-Enclave
Why are these two factions expected, and why are they to be brought back?

There is an Enclave Eyebot seen in the trailer plus a recruitment poster. If they are remnants of the faction or not that we do not know. BoS East Coast was my prediction, but i am almost sure they will show up in one form or another. Probably a continuation of Elder Lyons DC chapter. Also we see two people in the trailer in the BoS power armor, both in vertibirds.

Do you mean this scene at 1:51?

That one yes, it is the only thing i have seen about the Enclave. What about it?
As i see the rest of the story i am thinking that this is maybe 5 years after the Lone Wanderer puts down the Enclave for good. The Brotherhood starts expanding after striking major blows against the Super Mutants, knowing that vault 87 is the source of them. Also having seized all the Enclave military equipment they are stronger than ever. Expanding on the East Coast encountering Boston, where the Commonwealth is most likely in charge. Seeing as in FO3 Doctor Li leaves to find the Commonwealth, she will have an appearance. The Railroad will be in a war with the Commonwealth, probably underground guerilla style.
The PC wakes up from Cryogenic Freezing in vault 111 and we acscend into a conflict torn Boston and we are once again the hero, Bethesda style. Something like that. Just came up with it ![]()

What is it with that scene that makes you think it indicates an Enclave presence in Boston? All I saw was an eyebot and an "Enlist" poster. Is the eyebot solely Enclave tech?

It generaly is. I never witnessed Brotherhood of Steel using it.
However it doesn't prove anything - Fallout: NV had ED-E as a companion, who was an Enclave Eyebot, and only had one side quest involving the Enclave, which was not connected at all with said eyebot.
So it could mean it's Enclave, but it can also be the case of BoS adapting Enclave's tech, an old, freely moving unsupervised model or it can belong to some new organization.
Why would the Enclave return after Broken Steel and New Vegas pretty much setting them as an broken down order? It's like Marvel characters. They never die for good. IF they do return, I wonder if they will be the same old mustache twirling villains or an more reedemable group like the New Vegas chapter.

Might be interesting if it's neither (though it would be the first Fallout game not to have the Brotherhood in some form or other), and all this tech is actually being used by The Institute.
I have two questions for all the users interested in the Fallout saga
- Why do you think the game is going to fail, and what do you think will be its weak spots?
- Why do you think the game is going to win, and what do you think will be its strong spots?
And a final one
- Whether you think it's going to rock or suck, which will be the game's good and/or bad sides?
Thanks people.

I never said that i think the Enclave is involved in this game. I just thought it might be on the frontpage as unconfirmed seeing as the eyebot is in the trailer.
As mentioned above it might have been repurposed by BoS or maybe even the Commonwealth, which is supposed to have access to very advanced tech. Maybe even an alliance between BoS and Commonwealth. Though if its Elder Lyons chapter, they will probably be abit more good guys than hoarding tech to save humanity from themselves.

-This being a Bethesda game, I expect a very weak main plot and it will be extremely buggy to start with.
-This being a Bethesda game, I also expect a massive, beautifully rendered open world with a certain degree of mod-friendliness.
Too soon to say if it will rock or suck

If it's a BoS/Commonwealth alliance, I expect it would have to be Lyons' chapter. The Brotherhood does not share tech with other groups, even if it's to their benefit to do so. (see NCR or Followers of the Apocalypse) Individuals, maybe. If they're desperate. Groups, no way. As you said, they're hoarders.
Yes it is also a strong foundation to build upon from FO3. Maybe Sarah Lyons could be the leader of the Boston Chapter, that would be awesome. As they take on the role to be more saviors of the wasteland and not hoarders. But i do remember in FO3 not everyone beeing happy with the way Elder Lyons run things. I hope Bethesda takes a step up on the writing this time, they showed some potential in Skyrim.

Yeah would be interesting to see the Outcasts returning as well.
It will fail because it is Bethesda making a Fallout game, and all that entails.I have two questions for all the users interested in the Fallout saga

Can you argue your answers like Iakus did?
Many thanks.

I can, yes.
I can, yes.
Why don't you do that then? I'd like to hear your opinion too. ![]()

1. They might butcher Fallout's lore again. The main storyline will be weak. The characters will be forgettable.
From a graphical standpoint: weak texture quality, poor animations and luckluster weather effects.
Fallout 3 suffered from all those issues, Skyrim didn't butcher lore (but again, I don't know TES lore well), but everything else did happen.
2. It looks like the world looks more like it should, considering the timeline. The world looks interesting and varied. Voiced protagonist (although I know people are mixed on this). I'm also hoping for an improved combat and gunplay and many customization options, as well as interesting perks.
If it deals with the issues of it's predecesor it should be a great game. Otherwise... there will be plenty of people who will greatly enjoy it and call it Game of the Year (as was the case with Skyrim), but I will probably not enjoy it much personally, despite pouring a crapload of hours into it.

Do you think they have learned from the past mistakes?

Well, just as you say, the eyebot in the trailer isn't necessarily a confirmed expectation of Enclave's inclusion in game. I think the eyebot and the poster in the trailer are empirically weak indications that the Enclave is in Boston. But, if someone does have a feeling that Bethesda will reintroduce them again in this game, it's not unreasonable because Bethesda set a precedent in Fallout 3. Aside from that, I'd be disappointed to hear to know that Bethesda will be reusing them again.

Well, Bethesda will say they did. But, people have a different idea on what past mistakes mean.

Yeah i am hoping they leave the Enclave out. If they are to include them they can do something like New Vegas, the remnants of the order. They shouldn't be a full fleged army anymore.

I really hope they have.
How the world looks now (on the trailer) signifies a step in the right direction.
