Eh, looks like it might be a fun add-on, but not worth doubling the price of the game.  Even if it wasn't sold out.

I do wonder why Bethesda does not sell Pip-Boy merchandise in their store.

Of the footage I've seen, could  BOS be the baddies in this game?

The theory is that two BoS chapters are fighting eachother. Lyons Chapter and Midwest Chapter. So it is possible yes.

If that's the case, at face value, it's an easy choice for me...however, I do wonder how, androids, the Institute, and high tech are going to factor in and complicate things. We could very well be in for a wild ride with this game.

Be interesting if the Institute was the Mr House of this scenerio...

I could support the Institute in this game. I only helped the android in FO3 because I really wanted that badass plasma rifle. I personally think the railroad is an joke. Don't really care about those guys.

Looks like you may beable to join the railroad. i think Lyons may be aiding them.

Anyone else think the Giant robot in the Concept art may factor in with this?

The Institute backed up by BoS Midwest and the Railroad backed up by Lyons Chapter. Also in this mix you got the Commonwealth Minutemen and maybe a mercenary faction or two. There is alot of ways this could go, i think it will be very interesting.

They will seemingly have no role in the story whatsoever... until the leader of the Institute commands you to "kill everyone in the Brotherhood of Steel, would you kindly."

I might do if only because they asked me nicely. I'm a sucker for polite people.

Probably an inevitability.

And that was the one thing that House got wrong in my personal NV playbook. I understand why he wanted them eliminated from his personal POV and vision, but he gave you zero options, nor any leeway in dealing with the BoS.

I'm still a total House fan, but that's the one part of The House Always Wins quest line that annoyed the shite out of me. Having said that, it probably was the single best way of showing the PC who clearly was going to be in charge if you allied with him.

I came by a post in which someone was a bit upset about the prologue because the family was set and not optional so I thought of a possible alternative interpretation of the family that I decided to share;

Homosexuality - As homosexuality is socially unacceptable to put it mildly, you and a friend decided to marry to avoid suspicion falling on you or the both of you. You've adopted a child together as well.

Wild Wasteland - You and your partner are shapeshifters hence why you have the ability to alter your appearance simply by looking into reflective surfaces.

Didn't see it, but I haven't really looked back at the OP, just been going through every page of the thread. Must've skipped over it when it was originally posted, sorry.

No worries mate...it's probably still news to most, because you did have to look close to notice it. My first thought that we would have color customization was seeing the open paint cans in the garage in the trailer. No one commented (well, that I noticed anyway) on it on any of the boards I visit. Was glad to see it become a reality.
