How many of Geralt's lines are him describing clues for the player, though?

I'd like the option to turn off the main character's voice. I'm sure that will be one of the first mods out if it isn't in the game on launch.
I don't think there will be a toggle, but in the character creation there is a menu called "Extras" Who knows what is hiding under there!

A toggle that replaces sound effects with imitations recorded from the entire developement team, yelling KABOOOOM into the mic as Fatman explosion sound effect, or replacing LASER sound effects with pew, pew pew pew.

Classic Music for Fallout 4!
The other should be old Jazz, Blues, Pop and Country most likely if it's not a chat station.

I want Heavy Metal.
Nothing like cleaning a building full of Super Mutants with The Trooper blaring into my ears.

Thankfully even 60s and 70s genres and music have never been included in Fallout universe.

I see what you're saying. You want a different voiced protagonist! Perhaps one who was a prisoner (or isn't obviously an android).

Since I haven't seen the E3, I don't get why he/she should be obviously an android.

A lot of people are assuming the protagonist might be an android with fake memories since we are in Commonwealth territory. But honestly, it's hard to believe. First because Bethesda doesn't have the writing skills to pull off an twist like that in a well elaborated way, and second, that would render some gameplay mechanics pointless, such as radiation poisoning. It's very likely present in this game and an robot would never die of radiation exposition.

You say that like it's stopped companies from doing stupid twists in the past.

I disagree, look at the Shivering Isles and what happened at the end. I admit Bethesda does half @$$ their stories a lot, but they do occasionally get some right. Hopefully they will strive to improve their story telling.A lot of people are assuming the protagonist might be an android with fake memories since we are in Commonwealth territory. Shivering Isles ended exactly how everyone thought it would, honestly. I'm not sure how you didn't see that twist coming from a mile away. ES is all about opposing dualities. It's the most common theme in the series.

I'm dense at times, what can I say? I thought it had a pretty good story, but I guess I'm more forgiving then most people on BSN.Shivering Isles ended exactly how everyone thought it would, honestly. Don't get me wrong, the story was fine. Better than the vanilla MQ, but it's not exactly surprising. Bethesda's "twists" can be seen from a mile away most of the time.

You're conflating the fact that it won't be any good with the fact that they'll try it. And more to the point, radiation is nonsense anyway. The mechanic makes more sense if you're just a machine getting damaged parts rather than a real human, because 1) you can't really cure radiation sickness that way and 2) the actual physical symptoms are nothing like damage.

Except radiation sickness is acknowledge that way and does work that way in game. It doesn't matter if it makes logical sense. Fallout has never made logical sense. All of it is based off of the LACK of knowledge held in the 40s and 50s, where science and magic might as well be synonyms.
