The new Power Armor really look like wearable tanks.
Makes me wonder how my PCs have been killing that thing with lead based weapons and trenchcoats.

You shall never know the answer!
... Until I decide to tell you which I will do... now!
Sometimes the link is dead since I have to type it by hand because the forum won't allow me to paste so I'm trying to see if it is a typo that's causing it. It should work now.

Pete Hines says they're just about done with FO4.

Anyone else who thinks the "building settlements" mechanic will be a failure?
First, the interface looks closer to Sims than Falout which has never been about anything more than doing quests and exploring.
Then, if it was a story about us building a settlement, it would have a better chance of work. As it is, it looks like it won't have any effect on anything and the people who will set up shop and raider who will attack will all be very lifeless.
Basically, something like Skyrim weddings. Sure, you can marry but why would you? It adds very little.

building a place to store all your **** is more than enough ![]()

Well, yes, the upside is that you can build your own hideout but really, it should have ended there.
That looks good. But it doesn't makes much sense why an power armor that is supposed to be supperior to the T-51 models (considering it's mark is an higher one) looks like the old model of the T-45.
easy its a moddefoed version. if you take an Austin olegero and Supe it up you have a pimped up Austin olegero.

Well I enjoy building my house(s) in Skyrim a lot , I doubt I'm the only one so no I don't think it's going to be a failure.
Depends on your playstyle .

hey, ive spend hundreds of hours in the Skyrim creation kit building homes and entire settlements without any special features so im the last person who will complain about having in game building ![]()
Ok random question. who else here after Broken steel got bored and collected all the trash in washinton and got Filthy rich?

Meh, will I be stuck with an shack again? FO3 in a way punishes you for being good by leaving you stuck in the lame and ugly shack house in Megaton, while if you are evil you get an bombing suite in a little piece of paradise. That was pretty unfair, really.
New Vegas at least gives you a fancy home regardless of the karmic level.

You mean the Love Machine shack? ![]()
You mean the Love Machine shack?
Ha! Not even the love machine theme saved that shack from it's uglyness.
Umm You can ger the key from Tenpennys corpse and enter from the outside and use it as a temporery base. lie the faction homes in NV.

I'm pretty sure you can't. You can get the key for that quest "you gotta shoot them in the head", but the only way to unlock the suite without cheating is by blowing up Megaton. And while the idea is tempting, there were a few people in there I actually liked. On the other hand, if I had the option to nuke Galaxy news radio...
I got in via the balcony. hmm strange.
yeah sure the bobble heads didnot turn up but the Mr handy was there.

Two if you know about the small house in the scorpion area near the Goodspring cemetery hill. It is free, has no ownership and nothing inside it despawns or disappears.
But it isn't fancy.
But it isn't fancy.
It's a different sort of fancy. You got a house, you got a bed, you got a fridge, you got a wadrobe and a lot of other things, many in the Mojave Wasteland can say the same? To a lot of them, that would be a fancy set-up.
