"He is a real guy, with real feelings and real goals"
Is he leading us on? I think he may be leading us on.

What is the definition of real?

Is a sentient machine real?

"He is a real guy, with real feelings and real goals" is typical PR spill and normally never lives up.

What is living?

Is a robotic humanoid alive?

And dose he  dream of Electric Sheep?

Like I said before, it makes perfect sense you can;'t continue after NV because of the endings and massive changes that can happen to the game world. FO3 had no excuse along with that poorly done ending and no warning this was the end game which was why Bethesda had no choice. After Skyrim, I expect FO4 will see the same ala linear story with no difference in ending and no one giving a crap what you did so you can continue to shoot stuff.

Not realy. new npcs in place and new quests. the king wants you to help yadda fight Yadda to keep Yadda from Freeside.

A few years ago i played FONewVegas, but not for long, because my pc past away. I recently bought on steam FONV with all the add-on included.

What an amazing game, i have not yet finished the game, lvl 25 now, and its very addictive.

FO4 looks very promising, i hope Obsidian make also a game from the new FO4.

Good year for rpg´s.

Made more sense for New Vegas. None for FO3. Literally required a DLC to fix it.

All that was truly necessary was: "Hey Fawkes do this for me...oh, but get off your high horse [that makes zero sense for you as a character] about it first."

Considering  the fact that Obsidian was rushed and even CDP could not even do a proper post ending for tW3 despite having a far longer dev time, it's not as easy as you think.

I agree, Bethesda had no choice but to make a dlc to fix the ending, there was so many issues from writing to gameplay.

Yeah, the lecture was idiotic, considering her recruitment mission was LITERALLY doing the exact same thing.

Silly Bethesda.

True but something would have been cool.

Besides.

His feelings and goals should all be up to us.

Like it was in FO:NV.

Truly one of my favorite games. I'm in the middle of my...well somewhere between 10th-15th playthrough. I honestly don't remember because I've gone through a couple of computers and umpteen re-installs, and complete wipes since...but the fact remains, one of my favorite games ever.

Still.

FO3 gave us plenty of agency as well.

Should have said that too.

Never had to like our dad.

IIRC you could call him a bastard or something.

lmao

That is true and i am hoping for about the same freedom with FO4, but it will be difficult with a voiced protagonist, it sacrifices some of the roleplay elements alot of people like. Not me personally, but i get why people are skeptical about it.

I think i am to young to be old school. Didn't start with RPG's until BG2 and i was only like 12 at the time. Didn't understand much, but the music was amazing and the gameplay epic.
