Widow wasn't necessarily in use in the Morning War, the images Shepard sees in the Geth Consensus are just based on his own experience.

 

All ERCS weapons can be added to the Turians:  Vindicator, Tempest, Predator

 

Elkoss Combine is Volus: Shuriken, Avenger

 

Actually, if you specifically read the Widow's ME3 description, it mentioned that multiple arms manufacturers were attempting to replicate the weapon used by the Geth. And since the Geth would have had no time to research/create their own weapons back then, it would stand to reason the Widow was indeed a Quarian creation. As for the Geth Themselves, once they began to create their own technology, they replaced it with the Javelin.

You may be wondering why Legion wasn't armed with a Javelin in ME2, and the answer to that is simple as well: Look at Legion's armor. Field maintenance, even using Shepard's old armor for repairs. A lot had happened to that Geth. Since the Javelin uses fluid to fire, it stands to reason that it would dry out before too long, making it a less reliable weapon for a lone platform without support. (Also, the Javelin wasn't IN ME2, but this explanation is good enough for it to not be a flat retcon)

 

Furthermore, Legion acknowledges Shepard taking note of the Rifle. Replying to "That's the rifle you used, isn't it?" With "It is... an efficient model."

Who designed them is irrelevant.  They are all Salarian weapons now.

My first game today was TSol with Phaeston (Pierce + EB) with Warp Ammo 4, AR Amp 3. Gold pug. Epeen beat a Shadow, but she was the only one who extracted while an Atlas rocket DOT took me down (had no OP & gels by wave 8. A wave which I had to clean up solo wise too with 1 health bar and constant health gating on Hazard Ghost. Can't believe I pulled it off. Epeen showcase to pugs; success).

 

And no, I was wrong, Extended Mag clip is needed to loop the Phaeston in constant hot reload mode. But I didn't miss it. Cancel reload was enough + I enjoyed the higher headshot dps of EB. Phaeston challenge got done during this match as a bonus too. 20 headshot medal was achieved in wave 6, I think?

 

So yeah, what do I win for completing this challenge and achieving satisfactory enough epeen?

 

 

P.S. Phaeston TSol headshot focus is still a great combo. Will b@ng again.

I don't see much difference to my normal loadouts here. Many of my kits use the weapons of their species.

 

Btw... yeah, it's nitpicky but seriously... Quarians, Turians, Krogan, Humans, Asari, Salarians, Batarians and Vorcha are species, not races.

The Krogan Vanguard with the BPP is a mean combination that I regularly use on Gold and consistently finish in the top 2 scores ) In Silver missions I normally finish on top of leader board. Great weapon with the right accessories and in the right hands.

Huh, I never noticed that the Turians don't have any good weapons.  For supposedly being the best military force in the galaxy (I think?), you'd think they'd have something good!  Pre-nerf Krysae I guess?

 

They're too busy perfecting the use of other species' weapons to bother designing their own.
