OK so ESO just came out and ... man I have noticed a marked drop..... DA;I stud up to evolve and smacked it down, the witcher 3... oh no DA:I MP not going no where..!!!! ESO....Hard blow... so whats the Dragon age team going to do about it?!?!?
I hear rumors of a new DLC Beta...but if that's true...is it good enough to stand up against ESO... ?

You don't need to use the word comparison or compare. If you put a apple next to a orange you are creating a visual, contextual and multiple level comparisons dependent on the perceiver. Leave one and other be what they are. As for the DAIMP there is a beta so there is next level of whatever coming down. - ESO didn't just come out. It was released before DA:I was.
- I don't believe there has ever been a plan to compete directly with ESO, and with good reason.
- I have no idea what DLC beta rumours have to do with anything, since we already know that there are more planned SP and MP DLCs, and that support will be ongoing for a long time to come.

To the first point, technically, ESO only just got released today on consoles. It has been out on PC for a while now, though.
Who plays MMO's on console? Did Phantasy Star teach us nothing?
DA:I MP took a hit to the user-base when Neverwinter went live on consoles but bounced back in full within two weeks. I suspect ESO going live on consoles will have a similar effect. It might take a little longer to bounce back from ESO because everyone going to ESO had to buy the game while Neberwinter pulled in a lot of impulse d/l's.
In any case, I'm fairly confident we'll see two more solid MP dlcs for DA. One with a new faction, map, and 3 new characters. One with a new difficulty, 3-6 new characters, and hopefully another new map. Mind you, this is just pure speculation on my part but based on how long Bioware said they'd support it and how long Dragonslayer took to get released I think my guesses are reasonable. If we get more, fantastic! If we only get a new faction dlc, I'll still have gotten everything I expected from DA MP.

Yeah, I saw the XBone splash for it on my dashboard. I was one of the beta testers on PC, and I have to admit I'm a little surprised they waited until now. The gameplay and graphics seemed to be well within what consoles could accomplish. Probably some exclusivity deal, but I never pay attention to that stuff.
