In the interests of providing a focal point for PS3 players who are having trouble finding a group, and to give us a place to meet and greet, even socialise, would it be possible for a mod to pin this, or one of the similar threads?

 

Hi, my PSN name is Brewskin, and I'm a PS3 DAIMP addict.

 

I play some odd hours, but primarily somewhere between 2pm and 2 am Eastern. During the day, I tend to PUG a lot, as I may not be able to commit to a regular group for very long, while late at night I'm probably playing with my buds.

 

Any difficulty is fine with me, but I expect you to be capable, and to be a team player.

 

If I don't accept your first or second invite, or message you back, then it's likely that I either dinna see it because I was afk, or I'm in a group. If I'm fighting, I'm not going to stop to message you. Don't spam me, bro.

 

I prefer to play with folk who use a mic. If you don't, I will probably make bad jokes at your expense.

 

And oh yeah, don't be a jerk.

What time/days do you all play? Unfortunately I only manage to play consistently on weekend nights us eastern time. Sometimes ill get to play on the weekdays usually from 10-midnight. Lately I've been playing a lot with my brother who just started but he has tagged along in threatening and perilous with me depending on the skill level of the group. He can at least stay alive to the flag 50% of the time. Impressive considering he has like 13 prestige.

Feel free to add me and we can do whatever. I'm always down for anything.

Edit: spin, i think I ran into you back like way in the early days in some pugs. I don't think I've seen you since tho. I pug a lot and generally run into people that i forget as soon as I leave the party. Not sure if thats them or me being burned out.

I ran into HeHateMe2626 last night on a perilous dragon fight. It all went pretty smoothly. You should have stuck around, there was another archer that jumped in after that that just kept dying . To his credit, he said this was his first perilous since the new expansion but he didn't know where to stand on the dragon and kept getting killed by the wing flap.

I used to play in a band out. Plus I should be starting up another one this summer after the last one imploded at the new year.

@ texas, yes to all of that. I'm in a cover band or two with personnel that generally stays the same, but I also get calls for jazz gigs or whatever else is needing a drummer at the time.

Here's a question: how often do you guys PUG? I have a hard time finding players on my FL that are playing so I end up pugging 90% of the time. I wonder of most people get to where they have a full FL and just stick to private games.

I PUG often, just for my level 1 for two runs. This helps me meet new players and often run into friends doing the same. I have a core of 20/30 friend or so that is the regular crew that I play with. There is a lot of private games. I am not syncing with you on the time but do know lot of the people I play with are on when you are. So need to get you started. Most of them are on the leaderboard and active players.

I tend to PUG more in the afternoon, maybe early evening; typically Routine or Threatening, primarily to meet new players and maybe help them understand the game mechanics, but also to grab some quick completions and prep toons for perilous.

 

Late night it's almost always private perilous with our regular crew, though we may run a bit of threatening to bump our level 1s.
