Great games last night/this morning/today playing with Soldier. Much fun and a lot of dead bad guys.

Good times!

Late check in for sure, but yeah I definately always enjoy running matches with some posting here. My hours of operation have been abruptly changed and curtailed recently sad to say.  I trully do appreciate the support I've been given to complete the lastest daily "use it or lose it"

challenges. Somtimes the conversation during gameplay is so hilarious I have tears in my eyes from laughing! The friends I've made within the PS3 community make this one of my best online gaming adventures thus far.

Is anyone planning on upgrading to ps4 now that the option is there? I feel like it would be better for everyone if the communities were combined.

Alas $400+$60 is a little much for me right at this moment.

So I went through with it. I migrated to PS4 and I will say there are some pretty big differences. It definitely seemed to be more people on. There was just constant perilous pugs and occasionally nightmare pugs (none very good). The graphical difference is quite noticeable. But I am now getting the CTD that I never had before on PS3.

The major plus for me is that it takes seconds to boot up, less than a minute to go from launching the game to being in the multiplayer menu. It just loads and runs so much faster. Plus you can go between the game and the dashboard almost instantly.

The major minus is that I now have to start from scratch building a friends list again, as the majority of my friends list is now ps3 players. It feels a little but like moving from home to somewhere "very nice" but not "home".

Well keep us posted, has all your stats moved as well? Also you will need to change your signature

How did the data transfer go? Flawless?  Did you make a new psn name or use the same one for PS4?

Sig updated :D

All my stats, gear and gold transferred over. I lost the tiny bit of platinum that I had (like 75 or something). I have the same PSN name as before and I can actually see friends that I assumed were just on PS3 and messages received on the other devices. Everything went pretty smoothly except that I had to download the 4GB update before it would let me connect and transfer everything over. Then of course downloading all the DLCs again. With my slow wifi in the basement it didn't go quickly.

Save for the CTDs that I got 3 times the other day, and the fact that I have no idea who these people are, the quality of life of the faster more graphically robust system is an overall positive shift.

Also moving from ps3 to ps4 completely dashed any hope I'd ever have to crack the top 100. I went from ~100 prestige behind to about ~250 prestige behind. But the good news is mainly with my wife occupied on the PS3(she's replaying DA2 right now), that leaves me open to play a lot more than I previously could.

I just started playing the multiplayer a game about a week ago and I love it.  I'm hoping to find some good players to do higher difficulties with.  I know I'll sound like a noob by asking, but what do PUG and BSN stand for?  I promise I'm  decent player.  Have a mic, but don't usually turn it on, but will if people want.  PSN name is Brife71

Just started the multiplayer today, sadly I've only been able to play a couple of games because the PS3 version seems to be so utterly devoid of life...

If anyone wants to play then feel free to add, ID's in the sig.

Welcome but PS3 MP is limited life. PUG stands for Public Gaming Group meaning public games vs private games between friends where much of the gaming takes place in all platforms. This is because in private groups you can control who you play with and if you get disconnected you can return to the game. BSN (Bioware Social Network) old name for the forum now used generically as people who post and are active on the forum.
