I liked Skyhold much more when it was empty. Not that it's full of people, the game is lagging all to hell. It used to be smooth as could be, but now it's all laggy and jittery and has constant framerate-dropping left and right. Is this a last-gen version thing, or do even PS4 and XB1 versions have this issue too?

I hope no more people come in, or this will get really ugly. I just finished the Abyss quest and am about to do the assassination one that has all those stupid Halla things and a time limit that I'm dreading since so many people hate it. More people won't come in after that I hope?

Not noticed any huge fps changes on xbone.

Every main mission brings more people. And the time limit is not really an issue, you only need a few halla statues.

And no, I haven't any issues on xbone. I thought they toned down the game on last gen consoles specifically to counter performance issues?

They did, but not for Skykeep it seems. The main hall is absolutely filled with people now. But yeah, they reduced it everywhere else. Haven lost probably more than half of its NPCs judging from videos of the next gen versions. But Skyhold is getting very crowded.

There was one time in the Hinterlands early on where the game got about as laggy as it is now, but a game restart fixed it. I'll see if this too is just temporary when I wake up, I'm going to be shortly. Hopefully it really is just a glitch and not a sign of what walking around my castle is going to be like from here on.
