Why isn't Cerberus the most hated faction?

Because not enough folks play reckless close quarter kits.

Try a pure CQ kit a la pure reckless Fury without Dark Channel, maximum Throw recharge speeds/weapon coodown, minimum or no gun fire for quite a few games, and all bottom evolutions for AF. And then tell me you haven't changed your mind on the Cerberus faction? In Cerberus you've got;

- evil Guardians that block powers/melee

- smoke that block powers/melee by blocking your aiming lock on feature

- Phantoms death squad that force you into RHA or be shot down instantly on sight out in the open

- RHA cheating armour soak (especially to power focus/melee kits) Atlases that also love to lol fly over the map for maximum RHA cheating. -Cue "I am Iron Man!" Tune-

- Atlas magical homing rockets with lasting fire dps just when you need it most

- them hidden Nemesis' that constantly shield/health gate you out of nowhere

- lol you thought you could stagger me rushing in at lightning speeds lagoons (good thing they can still be easily dodged on a bright note and have a cap on many waves)

- double turrets within sigh of each other that again force you to cower behind ROA for weapon focus instead of CQ power focus/melee

So there you have it. Easily the most annoying faction in the game. No contest. Now go play one of these Furies;

(These Fury builds are non-optimal on purpose. They are for CQ practice that also makes for very interesting enjoyable gameplay too. Weapon choice & it's setup is up to you so long as cooldown is 200%. I even roll with explosive ammo since weapons aren't the focus)

I'm sure The Night Slasher will heartily endorse this product and/or service, but @ the same time Cerberus is the easiest to trivialize with the right weapons or powers. And they are by far the quickest to solo.

^ Just try playing pure close quarter kits like pure CQ Fury against all factions and tell me what conclusion you come to then?

Because they're predictable. You can't predict a combat drone stunning you all the way across the map.

^ Again. I'm going from personal experience with heavy CQ focus. Meaning I'm not playing the weapon.

I play Eagle Fury all the time. And yes, Cerberus can be annoying. But not more annoying than Geth stunlock or Collecturds power lock and laz0rs through 5 walls.

^ I play Eagle2 Fury on my PS3 account because it's the best lightest weapon I have on that account. On 360, I want infinite ammo weapons because weapons aren't the focus, so I don't want to know ammo boxes exist either.

Biotic kits own Reapers/Collectors. Geth clump together all the time for easy combo radius dmg. Prime pets get destroyed by biotic combos focused on Primes.

Cerberus generally allows you to recover from mistakes, Geth do not.

Cerberus is more a blitz faction anymore with the phantoms and the goonsquads pushing you into turrets and Atlases in the open with Nemesis fire to support.

Geth are just a stupid, broken faction in which every unit is malfunctioning, relying on a cheapass mechanic. Bombers glitched, Rocket Troopers glitched, Hunters lol, Primes (the single most annoying enemy in the game), Pyros glitched to high hell even their spawning is stupid.

The most garbage faction. I'll take triple primes over Cerberus any day.

Again, I'm talking from a pure CQ perspective play style without weapon focus. Just try one of the Furies I've listed for a few matches against all factions and see for yourself. Pure CQ Furies own all but Cerberus.

Cerberus is my favorite faction to play against and the fury is one of my favorite kits. You CAN wait around corners to ambush things you know...

You can't say "I want to play a certain way regardless of the enemy I am facing" and expect not to have issues...

If enemies didn't force you to change tactics occassionally, this game would be boring as hell!

Meh, I'd rather fight Cerberus with the Fury than any faction outside of Rippers.

Collectors? A ****** teammate usually shoots an Abomb as I'm getting them into the annihilation field.

Geth? Prime drones are going to own your ass on a larger map like Condor.

Cerberus? You can rapidly dispatch Goons and Phantoms, so that in itself will allow you to eat the wave budget quickly.

Doesn't make them any less predictable. If you can't beat Cerberus with the fury you're probably bad.

Not my problem if you go Fury against Cerberus without Acolyte. That's the whole point of wrecking them.

All I'm saying is I played the pure CQ Fury quite a bit lately, and Cerberus is the only faction that poses a serious threat. This topic is all based on personal experience while pugging gold against all faction and all manner of quality pugs (mostly on PS3 acount). Why I'm strongly suggesting others try it too to see for themselves. If I can be proven wrong, then so be it. I have no problems with that, but I want to hear that you've put in the time with what I suggested.

Acolyte is a crutch and removes the reckless from reckless CQ Fury.

I can. But it would require being less reckless and more weapon shooting.

Working as intended?

There's a difference between reckless and aggressive (but smart)

And yes, Acolyte is a POS crutch.

I need to find new interesting ways to play this game. I still try to squeeze smarts at all times, naturally. Otherwise I wouldn't be extracting with PS3 pugs.
