Why isn't Cerberus the most hated faction?

1) Reapers. Ravagers are the only real threat, most of them are slow moving melee damage.
2). Cerberus. Phantoms and turrets are frustrating a heck but ultimately the faction is manageable because they hang back to fire at a distance and use cover, giving you some breathing room. They can be a pain solo buy if at least two players can flank them and cover each other, they aren't much of a threat.
3) Geth. Constant focused fire on you, with hunters, pyros, primes and bombers making it near impossible to use cover.
4). Collectors. Anything possessed ruins my day. Cluster grenades, wallhacklazors, seekers disabling my powers, etc. Its all just a giant cluster puck.

^ To me personally your list is flawed because you listed Collectors as the hardest. It's a myth. So please don't take offense. It's just my opinion.

Praetorians and possessed scions in general are why. Lasers and cluster grenades from anywhere on the map

I swear Scion cluster grenades can pass through solid walls. I once got cluster grenaded while doing a device (while cloaked!) below the center platform on Rio (on the side that faces The Box) by a Scion that was just in front of the extraction area. I felt like I needed Kevin Costner to explain how the grenades got there while doing a horrible southern accent.

Scion nades only punish weak pug campers with extreme prejudice. Hard cover is the answer to butt lazers. So you see, it's all a matter of learning the faction better... and what can be hard covered or not (this got me butt lazered good once. It was during a clutch, so all eyes were on me. Thus very embarrassing
).

Says the guy who tries to take on 3+ phantoms on out in the open and complains out guardians yet refuses to fire his gun.....

^ I was going to say something along the lines of what you said about Geth being nothing but dumb rust buckets. If it weren't for something like 3 Primes on Platinum, I don't think Geth would be the hardest faction with least player success ratio.
Collectors are the most fair and thought out. ie. Biotic teams own Collectors (only no shields faction out there), yet Collectors have bees to suppress this biggest threat to them.
Reapers just have annoying teleporting Banhsees that cover ground too fast and never shut up. And swarmers.
Then you have Cerberus. The true biggest cheaters out there. That go as far as requiring specific stagger side arms just for on-host Phantoms (aka. biggest cheaters in the game) on certain kits that have no answer to on host phantoms (and if you really want to rock with CQ kits, hosting is also the key). Smoke screens blocking power lock ons (otherwise everyone being on the crutch scanner bandwagon can at least see the enemies for shooting) and constant shield gating from the combined forces of Nemesis, Phantoms, and stray Atlas rockets from across the map having beef only with you for some reason, and not the teammates near it. Just because Mr.Atlas may have beef with you being the top scorer. Or how about Turrets that melt you by just glassing at you once "Oh, you where kitting? Well sorry, you should of known to take another route. We turrets have domain over this part of the map. So rage gel, pop some ops packs, and be gone."
Geth? Just avoid the Primes. And even those are dumb enough if you constantly attack it with radius attacks to take out their pets too, forcing them to put out more instead of attacking. Or enter melee range to force it to melee, miss and continue your own offense. Simple. Heck. Primes sometimes just stand there doing nothing. So yeah. Geth. Dumbest faction out there. They also walk together in sitting target clumps just to make it easier on you for AOE raidus powers and combos. Walking toaster targets. How much easier do you guys want them to be? And if you can't avoid the stagger zones, stick to stagger resistant kits.
So really, I don't understand how folks here can say Geth are harder, especially for CQ action as that is my focus with this topic. Yet whenever someone plays something like CQ melee Krogan, it's almost always preset to Geth. Ditto for pugs playing anything. Geth is a fave faction for many new to Gold pugs from what I've seen.
Nobody ever said (or meant) Geth are harder, they are "cheaper". They stunlock you into oblivion and consistently break the game's established rules. Other than Sync-Kills being magnetic in other factions they all follow the established rules therefore making them...fair.
Cerberus are easiest faction anyways. Guns vs Phantoms, Power vs everything else, profit

^ Sounds better. But how long does it take a BSNer to learn to avoid the Geth stunlock train? And not even the BSN Geth Scanner trend doesn't help? Or the BSN play it safe and cower behind RHA trend? It just don't add up is all...

You cant "learn" to avoid stunlocks. Everything can stun you, and since you cant see everything at once it is bound to happen. Hunters flank you and stunlock you before you can turn around, Troopers and Pyros smack you in the face and stunlock you, Prime homing shots stunlock you, Bomber bombs/shock attack stunlock you, Rocket Troopers homing shots stunlock you, Prime's Drone stunlocks you...literally the only thing that doesnt stunlock is the turret which just kills you outright.
If something follows the rules then you can always overcome it with your limitations with skill or awareness...but when something doesnt have to follow the same rules as you you lose the advantage of skill and awareness and it becomes a factor of luck and persistance

There's a difference between playing an aggressive CQC character and playing like an idiot pug on crack.

Good players shouldn't be flanked and be capable of very good enemy situational awareness. This is how you solve Geth stunlock.
First time I finally realized Geth weren't a threat anymore (I was a Geth hater too at one point) was the day I finally decided to give Geth Scanner a try. The insane increase in enemy situation awareness or whatever I'm tyring to say increased like 10 fold, and I never, ever had issues with Geth again. Even after I banned Geth Scanner, because I naturally became a better player since and can handle situational awareness just fine even without Geth Scanner (thought 4 speakers Turtle Beach helps a ton too).

Thanks for pointing the obvious. Yet one is still easier then the other.

So you have a paneramic view of your character's surroundings in ME3? Wow i mean if i could see 360 around me even while shooting at 1 thing in a particular direction id be full-of-myself as well...ya know since i would be a hacker and all that. Maybe you have a rear-view mirror mod installed but alas i cant do that with my olde xbox 360. <--------sarcasm
No such thing as 100% situational awareness. It is literally impossible, on a basis of physics and all that

4 speaker headset is basically surround sound. And even with or without it. Good players don't drop everything just to focus only in what's in front of the with the rest of the team pugs. A good players makes sure their backs are covered every now and then.

"Every know and then", it takes 2 seconds for an invisible hunter to turn a corner. Also you contradict yourself, your headset is not a measure of your skill or awareness

Wait a second. You're a Cerberus fan. Debating with you on this matter is the same as debating with QMR that Geth really are the best kits in the game. lol.

But all BSNers play with Geth Scanner anyway.
And if a Geth Hunter still takes you by surprise that fast, you should of held a better position.
And you really should pay attention more to sound cues. Game is loaded with them. Yet I never see other players take advantage of this. Why I'm always usually the one who finds the last enemy in each wave first. Or when I'm in backpack mode I'm like "NO!!! The other way you fool! He's behind you!! Open your ears!!" Beep beep, bop bop. "MISSION FAILURE!!"

So a fan claiming that Cerberus are the easiest to defeat faction is biased? Your logic is humorous

<----Doesnt use Scanner on more than 2 kits which only have it for thematic purposes therefore disproving your point
We cant all defecate pure money and buy fancy headsets just so we can claim to be better at Vidya games

No it is misinformative and idiotic which makes it contradictory as logic is by it's nature the opposite of idiocy

I'm saying if I didn't have a surround sound headset, I'd most like improve in checking over my shoulder and better deciphering two speakers for enemy sound cues locations.

I like a good laugh every now and then. Keeps me from getting mad and ageing faster. Stress free is the best to be. But if you're taking this to serious, I can stop. As it's never my intention to upset anyone.
