Alot have been said already, but like others have mentioned, Geth takes this award, but Cerb is next in line after Geth.....with Geth, those rocket troopers can have you in the red so fast before you can counter anything. And pyros and bombers are pretty much silent and can blindside you from multiple angles....with Cerb, you are not instantly in the red by a phantom palm blaster or Dragoon Charge, so you have time to counter those enemies....

 

You are just more likely to go down from multiple rockets, or even if you happen to come upon one hunter or rocket trooper, you will get stun-locked to death...it's just the overall game mechanics with geth that make them seem incredibly cheap....even on gold those cats get Disrupter4 ammo and power amps....

Interestingly, I see pugs getting into more trouble on wave 8 than any other wave, because it requires you to switch mindset. When there are Primes around, stay in enclosed spaces, don't go out in the open. Whereas the wide open spaces are the places to be on wave 8. Think what most pugs do on wave 8 on Dagger - that is, try to hold out in the tower....

I enjoy Platinum waves 2 and 7.  I would name some gold waves, but I am not great at keeping them straight.

 

(not that I have played more Platinum, it is just more necessary to learn what spawns every wave to get through a plat solo than a gold solo.)

every Cerberus wave is fun if you have a headshot capable weapon.....unless you're the host. Then when you reach w8, you better save 9 missiles and several TCP's worth of grenades for the bullshit that is about to ensue, unless you brought a stagger weapon, which makes the entire faction a huge joke no matter the difficulty .

I actually hate Reapers most after geth, because they are comparatively boring. Lack of heads to make melon chunks of and far too easy, with only the occasionally retarded Banshee sync mechanics and motherfucking swarmers as threats. Oh, and playing them with a squishier melee kit like my beloved QFI is irritating because of 1) ravagers and 2) Brute arses stagger you for no goddamn reason.

If you smack the ass of a thing with four balls and a clawhammer penis, I would imagine a restraining order is the last thing you would need to worry about. Likely we would have a whole new meaning to the term "emergency induction port".

Seriously though trying to pretend you have omniscience and never get hit ever, is a stupid argument against get stun lock. Obviously we all know how to deal with geth, but they are the best flanking faction, it will happen once in a while no matter what. Then once you get downed there's no recovering because you get pummeled if you try to rez.

On praetorians and scions just saying "pug" is stupid as well. By themselves they obviously aren't an issue, its trying to dodge lasers while running from cluster grenades while fighting off a husk that jumped you while powers canceled thanks to seeker swarm while collectors shoot you. If any ONE collector unit gets you, they all Do. Plus praetorians move way too fast for how much damage and defense they have.

Meh, Collectors aren't that hard but you have to be situationally aware of where everything is. You can dodge lasers, clusters, etc pretty easily in the open. And their big ass Pumpkin heads are hard to miss if you aim at them.
