Now, I believe the lightning, angles, and options have been discussed far and wide by most everyone. Not to say those are things which could not be improved, but I have something else in mind here.

I often find myself making a character whose appearance I really love but not for whatever I have chosen beforehand. I.e. I like this one as a mage but I already clicked rogue. Or I do this in the BE while playing around and then have to take 100 screenshots and still fail to replicate the face completely in the actual CC.

What I always thought would be great is if the CC had a few save slots built in, where you could save any design you liked as a preset, to be used later if you didn't want to use it then for whatever reason. Also accessible from the BE, of course. That way you could build your Hawke in decent light and then just pick the preset, even. (It could override the existing presets... does anyone use those?)

And I assume it would be less resource-demanding than building in face-codes, like has been suggested and works in ME2/3.

Thoughts?

That's... a good idea. I mean, the game must be able to store this information or you'd have remake your character every single time you loaded the game. Store the presets in the same place as the "options" toggle information. That stuff seems to carry over from playthrough to playthrough.

It's a really good idea. I think that DAI's CC is great, easily their best - but practically unusable.

I wonder if they could integrate this into the Keep somehow. Saints Row has something similar wherein you're able to upload your custom character to a community site for other players to download. Seems like a no brainer to me, but then face codes were such a good idea that they neglected to use them in any game outside of Mass Effect, so you know. Bioware.

I support this idea, as I have with others like it in the past.  That would be awesome.  :)
