I have severe reservations about this movie and would not even consider seeing it...

...if it wasn't for Chris Pratt, who can practically crap out diamonds at this point.

I'm one of the only people that likes all 3 Jurassic Park movies. I think each of them can stand on their own.

So obviously I'm psyched to see this.

Eh, sorta in the same boat. But of course the best is the first. All I truly desire is the T-Rex.to reclaim the tittle of Queen and beat the I-Rex in the finale. The Spinosauras was a fluke!

The first is without a doubt the best.

And the Lost World gets alot of **** now (Mostly because of the Nostalgia Critic Bandwagon), but it's not that bad a movie. It has some good scenes in it, and it has a really good soundtrack.

3 has alot of problems, but when viewed as it's own thing it's not the worst movie in the world.

They all are if you know anything about Paleontology.

At least they explained the I-Rex is a hybrid.

They didn't do that **** with the Velociraptors.

Even if feathers weren't a factor, they're still a good 3 feet too tall.

They are all technically hybrids with frog DNA filling the gaps in the genetic code. Then again they might have changed that in the span of 20 years to avoid the changing of sexes.

Use birds to fill in the code.

Use birds to fill in the code.
:wizard:

Maybe that's why they are featherless since frogs are featherless. By using birds they might look more accurate.

I'll watch it eventually.

Its just that I'm expecting the same plot from the first movie.

Can't be any worse than Lost World or JP3, really, even if Andy ends up riding a raptor up the new dino's tail and popping it in the neck with a quad blaster.

So what's the over-under on Chris Pratt using the phrase "clever girl"?

I really hope we at least get a confirmation he survived. He did in the books after all.

First trailer made it seem interesting. Everything after, especially Pratt on a motorcycle riding along side raptors brought down hype. I'll still give it a shot.

Anyone catch the new honest trailer? I thought it was pretty good.  :P

I'm not crazy about the idea of using a fictional genetically engineered frankendinosaur as the big bad. Part of the fun of the original Jurassic Park was seeing the real life dinosaurs brought to life. (even if they occasionally got it wrong)

I thought they got it right for what we knew at the time?

Again Velociraptors. Even at the time they were wrong.

Real Velociraptors were truly much smaller. The Velociraptors shown in the movies were actually the dinosaur Deinonychus.

But to me, it doesn't matter how wrong or silly the movies might be. I'm really looking forward to Jurassic World. Paleontology is my one true passion and it all started since I first saw Jurassic Park in the theatre back in 1993 when I was little. It was the first movie I had ever seen in a movie theatre. So I'm happy the Park will finally open after 22 years.

Storm of Zehir may have been crap but being able to have a Deinonychus animal companion made it worth the money.
