Since we are complaining about the look of the Dinosaurs, are we not even going to address the fact a good chunk of those Dinosaurs aren't even from the Jurassic Period, but the Cretaceous period? Then again Jurassic Park sounds a whole lot better.

A way to make the jurassic/cretaceous point might have been to create birds from the cretaceous. Many people think birds appeared after dinosaurs like there are two homogeneous groups: dinosaurs first, birds after. But the first birds branched off during the Jurassic. By the time T-Rex and Triceratops showed up, modern looking birds were already around. I would have liked to see Confuciusornis for example, or probably another with an easier name for movie purposes. Just have them flying around in a show don't tell sort of way.

Did they have science advisors? I know they talked with Jack Horner for the original.

Don't forget the scene where Rocket rides a T-Rex into Battle.

I thought this movie was just straight up awful. Just terrible on every level, and (worst of all to me) very visually underwhelming.

Just came back from Jurassic World.

It was a nice popcorn flick, but nothing more than that.

I read about it's record breaking opening and I am seeing a lot of praise for this movie, but I don't get it.  This movie is terrible. Are people enjoying this ironically, like with Sharknado?

I don't get it either. It's just one of the worst movie I've seen in a long while - on par with Transformers.

Seems like it's doing well enough with most critics, actually.

As for how it's doing with viewers, that's kind of impossible to tell since it's not out yet lol. But I predict it'll probably do well.

Damn I'm good.

Eh, it was enjoyable as a monster movie. The end fight was f'kin awesome. But yeah, I went with little to no expectations so maybe that's why I liked it more. Still probably gonna make another sequel or a remake. There will never be another movie like JP 1 no matter how much they try, the magic is long gone.
