I'm having trouble understanding these people of the interwebs:

Q: Has anyone else been experiencing a glitch to where your powers can't hit and you can't use your gear?

A: there are 2 different issues. one is called the controller glitch, usually happens in waive 8 or 9. your download/upload speed can't keep up with all the action in the waive, you have to keep mashing on "b" button(melee) to get out of it. it basically neutralizes your controller, all the stuff you are mentioning. there is also a lobby glitch, where you are out of sync with the host(& maybe some of the other squadmates). you aren't able to get many kills & your score will really suffer, usually to the benefit of the host. only way to fix that is to leave the lobby at the end of the match. these 2 are the most common now(not bad since EA doesn't even maintenance ME3MP any more). there's also the shuttle glitch, where it stays at LZ all game. might not be able to climb ladders or use ammo dumps, other issues also. usually caused by host, & you will most likely lose him before the end of the match(that's ok, cause you get a chance for the gear glitch)

Yeah, sounds like volus glitch and lag to me.

 

Though the second one could also be a haxxed game on PC.  I landed in one once where I could one-shot the enemy (even with Cryo Blast), but the kills were registered to the host most of the time.

The "shuttle glitch" is real, but the shuttle staying in the LZ is just a symptom (it has happened every time I couldn't climb ladders)

 

The "controller glitch" as answer guy calls it does happen

 

so with the aid of an English to English translator some of it made sense to me, but I'm a bit of a simpleton

I think the answer is basically just guesswork, but the question seems like either the Volus Glitch, or the old glitch from before the Volus came out where you could lock up until the end of the wave.

The required up/down speed for ME3MP is only about 0.5 Mb/s, anyone on any kind of broadband connection has more than enough.

Ok, FULL CONVO. I took something out and editing it back, I think it was the volus glitch (expect he was clutching plat apprently...). The last guy to answer I still don't understand.

A1: U just have to die then everything will come back

A2: Not that one but every once in a while my gun won't fire or reload. If I run around for bit it comes back

A3: Yes. Usually heavy melee will "reset" that problem.
This happens always (well the couple times to me) when you are in the worst possible situation

A4 (that'd be me): Can't hit? Could shoot though? The volus shield boost can cause you to not being able to do anything, but heavy melee (which also solves the problem).

When it's not hurting my brain with this stuff, it's highly entertaining. Well.. this is kinda entertaining too. it's basically Prime sync kills all day everyday. And I get to feel helpful and it has helped me deal with my ME3 addiction. I no longer have to actually play the game.

Occasionally (usually after wave 6) I've had a situation where I can't pick up ammo, don't really seem to do any damage, but also don't seem to take damage all that often even when I should

 

I had it in wave 8 of a Gold./Cerberus/White match where I was the only one alive

 

Two players figured something was wrong, third guy thought I was riding the douche train but stayed in the game (presumably because I wasn't downed)

 

after about five minute of kiting an Atlas and some Centurions, I was able to pick up ammo and everything else came back

 

This sounds like what the answer guy (and Jelena Jankovic) was referring to

Now I understand lol. My 9 hour Bronze solo had them retards all out of sorts. Only time I've ever been accused of being a cheater and Photoshopping. Why I would cheat by doing a 9 hr bronze solo is beyond me? Lol

I had -1 ammo on my Venom today.  Not sure how or why that happened, but that was a glitch, I guess.  I've never heard of the glitch mentioned in the OP, although I have seen extreme lag produce something like that, and the Volus shield boost glitch.
