To start the wave by heading down the long stairs of glacier doesn't compute with me any more and what the BSN standard is. Because it would be... reckless?

As always, there are specific circumstances under which you run down the long ramp, but those are not very common.

Yeah I'd rather work from the inside hallway because you have RHA and a shorter track to the enemy spawn plus you can see the balcony without having to run all the way under it. Easier to start the wave there IMO also easier to run that way in the wave and kill enemies from right to left as you go.

But yeah, I almost never see folks taking the middle route on Glacier. Guess I was right about BSN not being reckless after all.

I usually start from the drop off and head through that middle area. It's guaranteed someone else is sitting by that top ramp, so I hang there to try and control the spawn

I don't think I follow. I'm not I sure I see what's reckless about using the map's most predictable spawn right next to the map's two best chokepoints, down both of which is a corridor that remains a chokepoint for several meters (instead of opening up the way other maps do.)

 

Unless maybe I'm thinking of a different long staircase. I find it the easiest spawn to nuke in the game. "Spawn Nuke" being used loosely - I don't use missiles, because when the spawn is that clustered, and that predictable, it seems like a waste of a missile when most guns/powers can do the same thing in only a few extra seconds.

What happened to that gif of that guy being exploded by the bus?..i commented off of that gif....is such pics or gifs frowned upon?...Anyway, i believe i originally stated that i always bum-rush those stairs, except when it involves geth.....i've taken too many rockets to tha face by trying to Smash them around that corner...
