Should retired ME3mp players be allowed to post in ME3mp Combat Section?

I can vouch for Deerber since he's one cool cat. But I'm not sure about the rest, as this thought just came to mind. So I don't see any harm in asking my fellow BSNers for advice on this before my BSN toxified mind warps the truth.

And how does this relate to me? Well, I know for a fact my posts & replies suck if I don't play ME3mp. That's where I get all my great ideas from. No ideas on ME3mp means more off topic rabble (google says rabble stands for Canadian based news. I now feel insulted).

PS - this post it totally serious & on topic, BioModerator. If not, I honestly didn't know. And I cannot predict if the replies will be constructive or not. I'm hoping for the best.

You're misinformed. Deerber's not retired. I played with him just a couple days back.

^ Well that's great news! ... And I wonder if my hipster builds encouraged him out of retirement?

Yes. I like old BSN knowledge and wisdom too. It's tells me to stop coming up with my own builds... wait. This doesn't make sense. Sorry.

No, but their contact information should be sold to aggressive marketers of...certain online services often patronized by the bored and the lonely.

I've always felt that once you were done with the game, you should get out.

Seriously.

Disagree.

BSN keeps people coming back eventually. I didn't touch the game for a year and now I'm playing again regularly. Besides that how many friends have people added from the board that will likely influence them getting the next game as well. Hell I bought DragonAge because most of the people on my friendlist were getting it and excited about it. I played that for a week before throwing in the towel.

Yeah, this is my initial thought too. But then remembered retired Deerber was cool.

That and every time I retire, BSN retires for me too.

loldragonage. I did the same thing, except I may have gone 2 weeks :P

Let me amend what I said, because admittedly, there are some retired people who I like seeing around, and others whose presence I loathe.

If you retire and every other word out of your mouth is how sick of the game you are and a disdain for those who still enjoy it, then get out and find something else to do.

If you retire and you still contribute to the forums whether it be answering questions or funny trolling, then stick around. To Sinful's point, if Deerber is really retired, and yourself Nuke, then you are both examples of people who I like seeing regularly. You both still kinda play though...others who don't play, and have nothing constructive or funny to add should just bounce.

Oh then we are in total agreement. If you're not playing and are just sticking around to criticize those who play it or the game itself then that's a pretty sad existence.

I've started playing again after not playing for about 9 months (not sure if thats considerd a retirement) the only people I want to see off these boards are the snitches who continue to report people for no reason - some people need to lighten up

It's a tough one to respond to because how would one even know? For example, I have my main INVADERONE account across Xbox, PC and PS3 but then I have my alternate accounts which I use as well. I had to do this at one point when I started doing videos and there were times that I just wanted to test some kits out in pug games for hours to see what works and fail till I would make a kit work well and not have a spotlight on me by simply being in the lobby. In short, it's tough to tell who really is retired and who isn't unless they actually admit it.

As to an ACTUAL retired gamer, let's say no accounts being used for ME3 multiplayer at all...then they all still have a right to post but when it comes to the advice, it wouldn't be as relevant in comparison to someone who has been playing through all of the balance updates. Their perspective on a certain weapon or kit may be totally different in comparison to the Pre and Post balance change versions of those same weapons and kits. Still, though, I am sure if a retired poster were to provide input based on old, pre-balance changed kits and weapons, the community would let them know super quick.

One does not simply retire from ME3MP.

Yep. Both of em as well as the OP should never be allowed.

^ Yet another happy customer! ... Wait, maybe the word happy isn't correct English? Must consult my Romanian to English dictionary on this one...

Anyway. I need to play some more games first to test out some stuff and make sure positive ME3mp/BSN karma is maintained before retirement comes a knocking.

And most of the retired are still noobs.

If you haven't been playing since the pre-beta dashboard leak then what's the point?
