At around the 6:58 mark. Of course take with a huge grain of salt, but is there any truth to this at all? I find it hard to believe, because all their other playable characters can be dead, Warden and Hawke, which would be unfair to those with those playthroughs.

Anyway, I don't think they mentioned anything of the sort. Also, it wouldn't be unfair

If it ends up being true (if) my guess would be you're playing a Warden caught in the middle of the civil war. A Warden, not the Warden. I really doubt you'd play Hawke or HoF.

Cameron Lee sent out a tweet that he could hear Leliana saying new lines from his office. Its in the DAI twitter thread.

 

Maybe she has a few lines in some new DLC giving us a mission or something. Like how the advisers all talked around the table to us before we ventured off on most main story quests. She's still not coronated, yet, if she's Divine Victoria, so she could be there.

That doesn't strike me as impossible. It can be difficult to plan adventures for high-level characters, especially when you get to the point where you've slain literal gods.

Also, let's not forget that two of the DLCs for Origins starred someone other than the Warden (Leliana's Song and The Darkspawn Chronicles).

The news of not playing as the Inquisitor potentially in the DLC won't help that crowd. Although I am pro HOF, I will take their word as final, he isn't coming back.

Strange.

I doubt we will play as a regular character, and considering that we have 3 main protagonist in DA universe , the Hof (alive and well), hawke and inquisitor, considering that they said Hof will not appear (US sacrifice or no, as PC is possible) so it will be probably Hawke then.

Her exact quote is "I think they said you're not necessarily playing as the Inquisitor." It doesn't sound like she really has any knowledge of what's coming either.

I think I've said this before but I feel sorry for people who stick around a message board for a game they supposedly hate so much.

There was mention of darkspawn involvement in some upcoming DLC or other, wasn't there? And regardless of the decisions in HLtA, *someone* survives. The consequences of that decision might be self-contained enough for a DLC. Pure speculation, of course, but it might make for a fun DLC.

 

(Why did this topic have to begin on a "no spoilers" board? Being evasive is harder than it sounds!
