Why isn't there any science data on stagger resistance with all the Geth hate?

I asked this before concrete scientific data returned. So maybe at least BSN can help me compile some peasant info on this matter? Here's what I have;

- Krogans can withstand Prime Siege pulses.

- Nothing sort of Devistator Mode (the only full stagger proof setup) can withstand Prime Drone rockets.

- Volus Shield Boost can withstand Banshee Nova.

- Ops Packs may be the same as Volus Shield Boost?

- do Geth Bombers/Scion bombs have less force stagger then say a lone Centurion nade? And if so, do the stagger of each consecutive Scion/Bomber nade detonation stack up force wise?

- not sure of status for Stimpacks & Repair Matrix (anyone here play these kits?).

- not sure if Barrier, Tech Armour, Biotic Focus, Blade Armour and whatever I'm missing (maybe Jug Siege Pulses?) contribute to stagger resistance (always have them on, but it would be nice to know for certain anyway).

- do Batarians have the same stagger resistance as Krogans?

- know of any other kits with above normal stagger resistance?

- know of any other stagger resistance tips?

Batarians have higher stun resistance.

Not really.

They have very similar resistance to humans when it comes to stagger.

Well technically they do. And patch/balance changes show that.

Hmm...

Drone, goons, phantoms, boss melee all stagger batarians similar to humans.

Do you remember all the patch balance changes to stagger resistance?

Changes to 1.04

  • All Batarian and Krogan kits will now stagger less than other kits

I dunno. It's in a patch notes. And they do seem to shrug off an Atlas missile without staggering sometimes.

Huh? I have never seen that happen. All my batarians get staggered back when hit by an atlas missile.

Excellent. Will make adjustments to OP to reflect replies after some more ME3mp sessions. Thanks to all helping out.

Try against Prime Siege Pulses. As it's stagger force ain't that high and Krogans can withstand them (I do it all the time to revive pugs in front of Primes like a Krogan champ full of sugar bombs balanced breakfast).

It isn't as amenable to testing.

I've seen that happen, but it has to be a direct frontal hit. And I dunno if Blade Armor has anything to do with it.

Yes, the stagger "resistance" they added for Krogan and Batarians was in the frontal cone.

What is the exact value though?

I've seen batarians get staggered from the front to stuff a krogan would shrug off. Stuff like combat drones, phantom melees.

I never looked at the patch notes; my initial statement was just based on my experience. But if its in the patch notes, it must be correct.

OK, my PS3 is getting turned on for real this time (louse BSN & food eating keeping me away from my first true love, ME3mp). Will keep in mind the frontal rear part that capn233 mentioned (thanks!) as I fire things up first with a Batarian then Krogan. Going to host so I can set it to Geth to test it against Prime Siege Pusles which do not stagger Krogans (though I must now test if a Krogan can now also withstand a rear siege pulse... I told you my PS3 was all hot and bothered).

Batarian have same stagger resistance as Krogans against Prime Seige Pulses and Geth Rocket Trooper rockets. Front and back.

Still say they should have had a Gear or an Armor Consumable that made the character stagger-proof or at least very stagger-resistant.  They could have even had both, like a consumable that added 50% stagger resistance and a Gear that made the character stagger-proof, but with a scaling (decreasing) movement speed penalty that reached 15% or 20% at level V.

They had stuff like that in ME1, with the "increased physics resistance" armor mods - don't remember what they were called, maybe hydraulic joints?

Difference between on paper and in reality. After all the balance changes didn't create even scales like they were suppose to instead it just lead to the same cheese with only tweaks in the default setup, more geth hate as they got cheap with stun spam, the reapers becoming a joke, more infiltrators becoming the lolteamplay focus on damage sterotype they were accused of being, and butthurt butthurt abound.

On topic; I don't know as the geth always hide when I play anything that's suppose to be stun/stagger resistant and Atlas die too quickly for me to test the rockets.

I remember eating an Atlas rocket like champ once while activating ops packs. Not sure if I imagined it, ops packs timing, or just ops pack duration that increased stagger resistance to allow stagger resistance against an Atlas rocket. Will test again once I leave and get home again. Real life calls.

As for my earlier Batarian VS Geth test, I don't remember exactly, but I though I was also resistant to elbow staggers as well. Which can't be because elbow staggers are the most OP thing in the game. So will test again to see if true. If true Batarians and Korgans almost completely remove the Geth stagger threat so many here cower in fear from. Outside of Geth Prime Drone rocket, of course. Which only Devistator Mode is immune to.

I assumed it was only during sprinting but IDK. It seems I get staggered less on solos while sprinting at times. I guess it couldve just been frontal cone resistance never really noticed that.

^ I didn't notice any frontal cone difference. Taking prime siege pulses from behind felt the same as from the front to me.

Combat Exoskeleton, Shock Absorbers... they didn't help much on Insanity.
