After you get all your dragons weapons, it is a waste to fight the dragon. You get less exp and gold if you fight dragon. Do you BSNERS think this is right??

I've already lost interest in the dragon and I don't even have all the weapons/challenges. I don't ever feel like I am rewarded for fighting her except on the off-chance that you kill 10 of them in a row and something drops. Worse when you kill 10 in a row and nothing drops.

I've gotten a bunch of non-dragon weapon purples off of the dragon too.  True, many of the purples were salvage material, but I've also gotten Superb Stamina, Caliban, Audacity, and Nameless blade.  If you're still in the chase for uniques, the dragon gives you that extra chance for loot.

QFT, got my second caliban from a treasure room. Those FC treasure rooms are no joke.

I still need the dragon staff in order to have all the useful dragon weapons, so I'll usually use dragon calls on FC. But I am getting a bit sick of the map and the older maps clear way faster on perilous.

 

I agree that the dragon fights can be annoying since you often spend so much time waiting for the dragon to fly it's circles.

I would like to see this as well.  It feels like the Dragon should be the big battle...having the same old commanders be superior to fighting a Dragon isn't something I am a fan of either.  I think the dragon rewards should be cranked up a substantial amount...even if that means a harder dragon fight or something.  It's just "right" IMO.

I think it is an a shame when the challenge is not to fight the dragon but to fight the regular boss.

Dragon fights are too easy, even easier than they are on SP. While the dragon encounters feel epic and all, there is no challenge. If the dragons werent cheap and didn't fly, they wouldn't last more than a few seconds. Fighting the regular boss on top of the castle and particularly leaving the faction boss for last is way more rewarding XP-wise and challenging as well.

Having said that, I am ok fighting Dragons when a friend needs weapons or challenge completions.

The hardest part of the dragon fight is when you're not sure where she's going due to lag, and then she lands on you. OHKO.

The dragon breath spam in zone 5 vs regular bosses is just cheap and annoying. Well, lightning and fire are. Especially when they hit you as you're opening the door.

FC dragon needs more money and exp and frankly a change to the wave mechanics leading up to her. Zone 2, 3 and 4  turn into monotony when you kill all the big enemies and it's just peons spawning back and forth for forever it feels like
