...can you sell more of them at once?  :P

I understand that it's easier to sell us content that's already done, but there are a lot of armour sets in the base game that I like better than most of the current options, and only NPCs can wear them, meanwhile our Inquisitors don't get a huge variety to choose from.

So next armour bundle, can you give us access to some of those, too? Just to name a few, there is the scout uniform that Inquisition soldiers in haven wear, Lysette's modified Templar armour, Venatori armour (multiple), some of the bandit gear, Calpernia's outfit would be awesome for a mage, just to name a few. I'd love to have a modest Inquisitor wear the same armour the Inquisition soldiers do. To blend in to the crowd. You could even let us use Cullen's outfit (which I think would look snazzy on a female Quizzy), or Hawke's, even if they're unique. If you don't like it, don't wear it :) You can already wear the armour of Grey Wardens and Templars even if they're your enemy, so why not? It's there for variety, so add more variety!

So yeah, if you want to make more easy money, give us some of those outfits that are already done. I think all the ones I mentioned look way better than the ones in the Spoils of the Avvar DLC.

A gold star to whoever tracks down the dev blurb about "if you see it, you can craft it."

I really don't think I'm making that up. I swear I remember it.

I would love if all armor styles in the game were available to be used by the Inquisitor.

Heh. That's funny. I don't remember it, but I don't doubt it. I know they'd have to actually work to make it work on all races (but not that much work), but they're almost all available to the human body type and it's really a shame you can't get schematics for all armours.

They said it. I remember it too. They pointed out a cool armor and said you can craft that, though that schematic wan't available in the final game.

Reminds me of Mass Effect. That was cool, even if I always used N7 armour. I would love it here, as there isn't any armour that iconic for the Inquisitor.

"You've just completed Jaws of Hakkon for $15! Now for another 5$ you can get those items that you should have been able to acquire from the first DLC in the same manner at which you got similar items in the main game"

Pretty similar to "Here's your Ice Cream! The Cone comes separately for 4$"

I agree with all of this except for allowing the Inquisitor to wear iconic companion/NPC armor (Hawke's, Calpernia's, Samson's, etc.) or enemy armor. Having the Inquisitor run around in Venatori or Red Templar armor (especially Red Templar) would be.... weird.

And iconic companion/NPC specific stuff should stay companion/NPC specific.

I wouldn't object to Lysette's armor or the random unqiue designs we see, though.

You can buy versions of the Inquisition armors from whatshisname, Seggrit.  They suck, but you can buy them.

Do you have a problem with my solution though? You can elect not to wear them.

We can already wear enemy armour though. We can use the Venatori helmet, so why not the armour? Honestly, the helmet is a lot more obviously Venatori than the armour, not to mention it covers your head, so you can't see that you're an ally. You can also use Warden armour, and they can be your enemy. There isn't really such thing as Red Templar armour; it's just misshapen templar armour, which you can use. You can also run around in Hakkonite "armour" via the new DLC. If you want to argue story, I very much doubt the Wardens would like you wearing their armour like an imposter, or the Legion of the Dead, or the Orlesian army for that matter. But you can, because options are good. But that's what they are: Options. So no offense at all, but the argument that we shouldn't be able to wear enemy gear isn't the best.

As for unique armour, it depends on the person. You might not like it, others will. You could wear, say, the Rogue-Champion armour while your Hawke is a mage, and it wouldn't be a problem. And if you chose the mages, you would never even see Calpernia, so hers wouldn't be either. I doubt Cullen would mind if you said you liked his armour and wanted a schematic for it. It just depends on your character. In the end though, it's just something I'd like, not something I need. There are plenty of non-unique ones that they should add either way.

Yeah... it's too bad they suck. I'm not sure if the warrior version is the one most Inquisition soldiers wear. If it is, than I take back what I said about how we can't use it, but I maintain that they should give us schematics for them all.

To the people that give the impression that these kinds of DLC are okay in general. These outfits are not even new; they were already in the DLC and they chose not to make them wearable so they could be sold separately later. And like you said, they don't even offer many, just a couple and some mount recolors so they can justify the price. It just leaves a bad taste. I'm just worried that it's a sign of this becoming a thing and them holding out on stuff like this in the future as well.

But if there was going to be armor dlc no matter what then I agree with you. There should be more sets offered.

I am aware I could ignore them, but I just don't see the point or sense in adding something like Hawke's exact armor to the game. I suppose Venatori armor would be okay, because I didn't know the Venatori helmet was available until now - which is a pretty ridiculous thing to have if we can't have the rest of the armor.

Now if BioWare added modified versions of iconic armor, or maybe historical sets (SWtOR had these; you could buy a copy of Jolee Bindo's or XoXaan's armor and dye it, mix-n-match, etc) I wouldn't have a problem, but exact copies of living character's armor I don't like.

I would kill for a dyeable Sentinel's armor, honestly.

Yeah, I agree. Spoils of the Avvar is bad. I'm just saying that in the future (since they will make more of these), I would ideally want:

Actual new armour designs, wearable by all races, combined with giving us schematics for these old armour designs. That would give us enough content that more people would pay for it, and make them look like they did more work. Win-win.

Basically I don't have a problem with reusing things and giving them to us, so long as they're bundled with new content.

Yeah, having the helmet but not armour is really strange, considering it's in the game and fits on humans. I suppose it hasn't been made for females though, so I guess that's the reason. Which leads me to another strange thing: That all Venatori foot-soldiers are male, but that's a different discussion.

The thing with Hawke's armour is that you find it in parts scattered around the third act. That either means we're supposed to meta that Hawke had it made, and it's gameplay-story segregation, or that it's not actually Hawke's armour, but Champion armour, as it's titled. Meaning, Champions of the Free Marches wear it. In the latter case, I think it's more acceptable to use, seeing as like you said, it would be like ordering a replica.

Ah, I forgot about the Sentinel armour! They can also either be your allies or enemies. That would definitely be a good addition.

I'm taking what I can get here (not that they'll use my idea). I want them to bundle it in with new content (as long as there is enough new content to warrant the price). And I'm only even saying that because asking for them to patch it in seems unlikely... On the other hand, the Black Emporium. Well, Bioware, patch this stuff in, please your fans! :P

then they should release them as part of the paid expansions, keeping assets in the expansions off limits as schematics only to sell them later is just disgusting

I don't think BioWare would lift down the class restriction gear, But I you are a PC owner I would suggest downloading the mod for no class restriction since the past DA games had one.

Was this before or after they started doing multiple races? Because that might have been the plan until they had to make armor for several races instead of just humans, and decided their resources had to go towards all the races getting armor over being able to wear any armor in the game.

Mage robes for mages would have been cool, I understand that not everyone liked being "stuck" with robes as a mage but to have it as an option would have been nice :/

What's the difference between including it in a paid expansion or a paid armour DLC? If you're saying that these JoH armours should have been in JoH, I agree.

They did already, in the base game. If you have the right crafting materials, you can make any armour available to any class. In addition, both for the one new armour set in JoH and the two in Spoils of the Avvar, you get 3 schematics (one for each class) that all look identical. So I don't see classes as any limitation for this.

I wish that the Inquisitor had options that were more rustic, like Solas' for instance.
