What would you ask and why?
I personally would want to ask about the Thorian because clearly this plant/creature was around for a very long time. I wonder if this plant/creature race was around when Leviathans were ruling the galaxy and if there were more of them back then.
Clearly, the Leviathans and Thorian have the capacity to control others through various means so I wonder if the two species are related in some way like one evolved from the other sort of thing.
I'd chuck my model of Sovereign at it.

A mass accelerator weapon from orbit should do the trick. They can knock ships out of the sky, but they can't stop a rod of tungsten traveling sub-light speed. Or, if you're feeling extra crazy, you could always just rig the relay to explode and wipe the whole system out just to be certain.

Squids usually use one of their tentacles for reproduction, so good luck guessing which one, because I sincerly doubt you'll get a second chance at their diddybags after the first attempt. 
I'd ask them how were they defeated by the Intelligence if they could kill a Reaper Dreadnought by thinking mean thoughts at it like they do the one that attacks at the end of the DLC. 
More seriously, I'd ask what their intentions are if we beat the Reapers. Will they continue to live in isolation, or would they try to dominate the cosmos again like they did before creating the Catalyst.

But those calamares a la romana (that's how they're called) could be made from the other limbs, too....in fact, they can be made from the entire squid, so this debate is pretty pointless
Althought we'd require a fackton of lemons for them (they taste the best with a few drops of natural lemon juice).

I'd ask Leviathan how it feels being on my list of skippable DLCs? Up there with LotSB, Arrival, and Pinnacle station. Nothing personal.. just have a hard time fitting him in.

Yeah, it's a hard situation. The Leviathan don't seem to be capable of aural communication, but if you wore something like Magneto's helmet when encounter it, you'd just be staring at a big stupid cuttlefish.

They would've been competition.
The thorian is such a missed opportunity I still cringe when I think about it. It would've even been better suited at the Leviathans bullshit role than Leviathans themselves. Three of them can stop a Reaper with their minds but regular machines would've been too much for them? Unlike the thorian who really wouldn't have any innate defenses against synthetics. It can't take them over, it can't change them, it can't clone them. It can only make creepers which were already set up to be organic husks.
Such a disappointment.

You're going about this all wrong. Billy the Squid and his Hole in the Water Gang will just roll their bioluminescent eyes and go on about apex this and transcendence of lesser species that. You use them and their thrall teams, then you dispose of their orbs, and then deal with them once their usefulness is at an end. To forewarn is to forearm.
