The biggest piece that feels like punishment is how ugly the MP characters are. So many people complained about how all the human characters got helmets in MEMP and they went out of their way to make this bunch as ugly as they possibly could.

Bioware as a company, with the exception of SWoToR, haven't done a vast  open-world style game in a while and this one just shows they should have let it simmer far longer than they did. Neverwinter Nights and Baldur's Gate are both extremely good semi-open world games but its been awhile since they did one.

I'm not blaming the technical side because there are plenty of companies that did ports from one system to the next and there were little to no problems. Using Frostbite 3 when they hadn't used it before could be part of why, which shows they should have kept with the DA system and just continued to upgrade it.  I think EA got far too overconfident with "This new engine is amazing, every division we own must use it". Frostbite 3 is an amazing engine if and when you know how to use it properly, the DA team did not get nearly enough time to learn how to tailor it to their needs and it definitely hurt them. The four console ports and the pc version could have been much, much better if the talent involved had a lot more time to play with their new toys.

The game itself feels like they did an amazing job on a few zones and then the rest was sort of "What do we do now?" which has happened to a lot of games. Ultima IX for instance, the capital city is gorgeous and then you walk outside of there  and it feels like someone hit the 'random' world button and it all collides and clashes and is very very underwhelming.

Dragon Age: Inquisition ended my interest in the franchise. Outside of selecting gear options, while also selecting a single power per level, Dragon Age: Inquisition doesn't resemble anything like an RPG.

I keep hearing about diversity in armor, endless amount of content, and tons of customization. Once you leave the first map, the other maps are completely void of content. We get a mess of open and empty spaces. When it comes to a diversity in armor, we get the same select few with color and stat variations.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Dragon Age: Origins were masterpieces compared to Dragon Age: Inquisition. Do you know the irony? All the above games were made by the same company. It's as if the company had suffered from amnesia.

I don't know how Dragon Age: Inquisition won game of the year. It shouldn't have.

If the idea was to punish players, I think BioWare ended up killing my interest in the franchise. I don't even care if this franchise continues. Why? Dragon Age went from epic to boring to suck.

SimCity 2014 has more replay value than Dragon Age: Inquisition. It's that bad.
