Since people love posting about factions they hate, I am curious what factions people enjoy playing against.
So, here is my list:
1) Cerberus: I find their units to be the most diverse, interesting and fair. The only boring units are troopers and centurians. Everything else has a unique gimmick and requires different strategies to deal with.
2) Geth: Apparantly I am the only one who thinks the stagger mechanic is interesting. I also find Geth Primes to be the most interesting boss unit to fight (not counting phantoms as bosses) since they test your ability to pay attention. I would call it a tie with Cerberus if bombers didn't exist.
3) Collectors: They are interesting, but I find the endless swarmers biased against power spammy classes, and space crabs are way too quite for a unit that can sneak up behind you and instantly stagger you into a sync kill or block exits. The bubble of denial is also biased towards power based classes (without reave at least), and but lazors=cheating.
4) Reapers: I really, really, really despise Banshees. Constant noise pollution and being chased around the map until I back into her twin sister is effing irritating. I also don't always have the best connection and being pulled half a screen back to spectator mode generally makes me want to punch my laptop in the face. I hated every second of my Platinum solo against them. It was a half hour of boredom until I made a mistake and got grabbed over, and over, and over, and...
I would also like to know if your preferences are based on what type of kits you generally enjoy playing. For example, I imagine I would like the collectors a lot more if I enjoyed playing weapon platforms.
