In the Keep, you cannot say you weren't friends with Viv but also say you completed her personal quest. The Keep makes it so you have to say you were friends with Viv to have done her personal quest.

 

However, I've had friends say they had got Viv's disapproval scene (where she rearranges your furniture), but they still got her personal quest. I'm currently working on a playthrough myself to see if I can get her quest with disapproval.

 

So, my question is, is the Keep wrong in this case? Should you still be able to get Viv's personal quest with disapproval? Or is this a bug of the game?

Yeah, it's that way with all companions. It's pretty weird considering you can make decisions that are against said characters (like keep Blackwall in jail or exile him, give Viv the wrong heart, etc).

It's weird that the Keep would deliberately set that you can't do companion quests if you weren't friends when the game lets you...
