They got Keaton, that aesthetically isn't that much different.

You're right.. and he's kind of comedic in his own way.
I think there's something more eccentric about Murray though.. it would've given Bruce Wayne a whole different feel (or rather, accentuate the eccentric behavior that Bruce already has).
