CSMG is just better to me personally unless playing a kit with accuracy boosting attributes. The recoil and inaccuracy eats a little of it's on paper DPS not to mention you do have to occasionally hit ammo boxes. Hurricane is fantastic on a GI, GE, etc on the other hand. 

 

Geth engineer hurricane you say? Interesting. Care to share the build?

So long as you take accuracy, RoF and speed bonuses in HM, and chain/NS/shield on overload, you're pretty much set, on that character...

 

Although I vastly prefer the Talon on him myself. Damn, I'm starting to sound like a broken disc, don't I? And the funny thing is that I don't even use that gun on so many kits... You just asked about pretty much all those I use it on :lol:

Hah, not really. I love the talon as well. I use it whenever I don't use an acolyte, although that's gonna change now :P And honestly, who can deny hunter mode talon?

It's good, alright. Too good, in fact. Why I play him with Blood Pack Punisher instead to even the playing field by 20% for the pugs if I still want some teeth. Otherwise I'm more then happy with the Geth Pulse Rifle or Locust on him.

My GE build

The way I play him is to be the team medic. Primary way of doing damage is lots of shield stripping with plenty of fire explosions. With that being said, I do like the geth pulse rifle on him. Sadly, I feel like it's a bit lackluster in plat though which is a real shame :/

Geth Engineer is the only kit Sinful Force can't figure out how to spec without dropping fitness.

I suspected as much. Sadly, I am a filthy casual so I secretly slip 3 points into fitness in lieu of weapon damage  :(

Arc Pistol, Talon or Wraith are all pretty damn good on him. I'm found of the Talon and Wraith both because I use the Arc Pistol on the Turian Sent. You can do FEs or just put on AP or Drill. With the Wraith overload immediately as soon as the final round leaves the chamber and boom you have an animation hide and a full clip again.

 

Collector SMG and GPR are good also for FE builds.

My GE is specced 46664 at the moment with split between turret and fitness.

 

Geth fitness tree is the only one that'll decrease shield recharge delay with just one rank (most other characters need 5). Plus, speccing into ranks 5 and 6 of turret feel forced to me. It does its job with 4 ranks and so, I leave it at that.

 

As for weapons, talon, wraith and arc pistol are awesome (they're the 3 best weapons in the game). I like to use valkyrie, saber, indra, paladin and venom.

I would probably use something like that. Stability is a must for me personally, it might be more easily controlled on PC but on console it's hard to manage and hit enemies in the head consistently. Full investment in turret is kind of meh to me personally, you can get some increased kills if you go all in on offensive turret but it's still not that remarkable to me without going all in with power amps, etc.

Indra...interesting choice. I gotta try that out on him

Yeah offensive turret is meh since guns do so much more damage. I can definitely envision your build being usable in plat, whereas my preferred FE build would be mainly useful in gold. Thanks for the build :)

If you have maxed heal Turret always around you, it's not that vital. Why choosing Shield Gear is also better then Stronghold Gear if you decide on this sort of Gear due to salvaging of higher level Cyclonic mods as Sinful Force does from time to time.

 

 

But good reminder of about Geth Shield recharge specialty for the new player. So incoming like incoming.

by modifying the gender pronoun at the end, this statement applies to literally every kit in this game. We'd love to have your ship as a member of our Fleet, Captain Obvious.

The flamethrower at rank 6 is good for if you plan on using the turret offensively by going for FEs. Unpopular idea I know, because BSN prefers weapons over tech powers.

The issue I have with the flamethrower is that it takes too long to deploy, then wait for the turret to use the flamethrower or switch targets. Or, it could even target someone with shields. I love the concept but I just find these little delays a bit unbearable.
