What bows have you built and what kind of damage are you doing? I am looking to built a real damage do-er and would like to know what builds have been tried, what worked great, what was a disappointment (a don't waste your time) and what surprised you, for better or worse.

You can do a masterwork (dragons tooth) on top of tier 4 materials. Or farm something like Fade Touched Gurn Hide (30% bonus damage if not hit for 5 seconds) to really get some huge numbers.
Depends how you build- but 4-6k on a long shot. 6 to 12k on a Full Draw- depending on your specialization, elevation, flanking, etc.

For my artificer I focused on increasing critical chance. That character now has 100% critical chance and 125% critical damage.

At lvl20 I have all my tempest abilities and passives, the teamwork passive, and the bow abilities and passives(except explosive shot upgrade) and I have been one shot killing enemies like crazy(even Giants!!!) with 80% armor penetration, 56% or 66% attack, 59% critical chance, 92% critical damage(even dragons go down easily with this build)

Has anyone else notice that when you have fade-touched obsidian and/or silverite(gain guard on hit) that poisoned weapons and toxic cloud gain you guard from it? I stopped using them(poisoned weapons and toxic cloud) because the game was feeling easy on hard and nightmare, is this a glitch or bug?

Those are both 'per hit' which the game considers each 'tick' of the poisoned weapon and toxic cloud to be. Chain Lightning I know does this as I loved using it to refill my guard bar when a boss called in adds. If it's a glitch BW doesn't care as it's been in game from the start. IIRC aoe auto-attacks also generate multiple events of +guard...
Also rouge = red, rogue = dead.
