ok so I just got (through a little cheating) the -100 Hostile Wynn leaves conversation...and...
her Zevran romance talk came off as more hostile >_<
I would love to see the screens from her even more hostile Zevran talk.
I don't get Wynn at all... when you're a bloodmage and you go through the Circle she start freaking out, but when you let the bloodmage woman go, you get no disapproval.

The Zevran conversation you really have to hear to appreciate -- her tone says as much as her words do.

And yes, ugh, the tone. OOOOH, that tone.
Edit: To make up for it, though, her apology is the nicest of them all. Too bad that that is triggered at 91+ love which happens quite late in the game with Zevran.

I will say this, though -- she is incredibly insulting to both the warden and Zevran before trying to make the relationship sound incredibly cheap and tawdry. Since you have to be at 71+ adore to trigger that conversation, that in itself is incredibly insulting. Her main objection seems to be how much you and Zevran are enjoying each other's company and having fun together. Not to mention how bad it looks for a grey warden to be behaving in such a way.

Arrrgghhh - I see I'm going to have to tolerate Wynne one more time just to see this gem.

It is only her apology for the Zevran comments taht give her a chance of survival in my games

her apology comes to little to late for me to even forgive her no matter how nice it is

Who's talking about forgiving her? I just like hearing her talk about the tenderness to his gaze!
Edit: yes

There are some amusing & sarcastic choices for the PC there, for example:
Wynne: I must say, you seem very familiar to me. Did I not see you at Ostagar?
PC: No, you didn't. (You can also tell her that you did, but I like to think that my PC is simply not interested in making small talk with her and tries to cut her off)
Wynne: Yes, I did. I am sure of it now. I saw you in the camp, with Duncan and some other men. Grey Wardens. You are one of them, are you not?
PC: Nothing escapes you, does it?
Wynne: I am sorry for... what happened to your comrades. It was terrible to behold.
PC: Yes, it was. I was there, remember?
Most of you probably knew about that, but I wanted to post it, in case some didn't.

By the way, do you know that you get additional dialogue with Wynne during your trip though the Tower if you didn't talk to her in Ostagar?

Ah, I think you'll get that only if you play a non-mage. At least, my mage characters have never gotten it (they avoid her at Ostagar.) Thanks for that - do you get that when you first meet her in the Tower?

I tried to find some youtube's of the wynne conversations-alas I failed horriblyI really want to hear what she says about zev
I haven't seen it on youtube either. I could give you a transcript, but it only tells half the story. With Alistair and Leliana (and according to CZ, Morrigan as well, though I haven't personally heard it), Wynne sounds very concerned. She may be overstepping her bounds, but her intentions are good. With Zevran, she sounds disgusted. I'd suggest romancing him at least once -- you get it at +71 adore, which can happen very quickly. He can fall hard and fast if you so choose.

Yes, non-mages only. You can get it if you talk to her at any time during your journey through the tower, but not in the first encounter. If Alistair is in the party he will chime in as well.

What does she say to mages? I haven't played a mage that talked to her at all since my first character. Of course, I was terrified that I'd lose my healer if she tried to confront me about me being a Blood Mage, so I gave her a few gifts and left her alone.
Now Morrigan is my healer so I couldn't care less

In the fade, when you finally get to the sloth demon, she tells him "you can't hold us here, we found each other in this place."
Moments like these are when I could buy the "pride demon" theory. I mean, wtf. If it weren't for my PC, Wynne would have been comforting fake dead bodies for the week it took her body to die of dehydration. Even Sten wasn't fooled by the Fade. And when you tell her she's in the Fade she says, "I have an affinity for the Fade." Yes, Wynne. You have an affinity for the Fade. Just like you have an affinity for stupidity and hypocrisy.
It's funny, because I can never bring myself to play an evil character in RPGs. Never. Yet, in DAO, I'm almost always running with an "evil" party because I can't stand any of the the "good" characters. Allistair is a whiny hypocrite, Lelianna is a super gullible religious psycho, and Wynne is just indescribable.

Ah yes, I remember that particular discussion with Wynne very well. She liked me a bit less afterwards...
But it's also a good example about the things that bug me in regards to the dialogue with her: Like Reaverwind says, we should be able to point out that she doesn't have any Warden training either - apart from some heroic hogwash she's picked up.
Another example is the dialogue that starts with:
"I must ask: What does being a Grey Warden mean to you?"
During this conversation the PC has the option of telling her that:
"I don't want power. I've never wanted it."
(which is what my characters usually say, because they want to be free, not powerful). This is followed by a lenghty lecture that starts with:
"If you live apart from others, and your actions affect only you, then you may do as you wish."
and goes on and on and on until she finally says:
"But I've lectured enough for today. I should stop before I wear out my welcome."
I mean, not that she's not right, because she definitely is wearing out her welcome, but why can't we say something to her along those lines? Why can't we interrupt her sermon about power and influence and ponds and drops and ripples? Why can't we tell her that yes, her constant lecturing is grating on our nerves?
I think I would like Wynne a lot more, if I had more dialogue options. Even if it would end with a tersely "I see" on her part and an approval loss.
Have that discussion about power and responsibility as a dwarven noble.
There are so many options to reply missing, it's not even funny.
"Wynne, I am the son/daughter of the King of Orzammar. I was groomed for power and responsibility. I am a warden because of the political backstabbing and intrigues of my younger brother. Trus me, I know a bit more about this than you do, living in your ivory tower."
