Part of what makes Zevran so sexy is how scarred his face is -- I've not seen a mod that actually captures that. I do mod occasionally, but I always end up back with the originals. I do like Jenovan's mod, though; he looks so elvish as opposed to a human with pointy ears. But . . . I still always go back to original Zev
I have mods that change Morrigan, Leliana, Sten and Wynne. I feel that the mods I have for them better represent them. And Wynne actually looks like an old woman instead of someone who is barely older than the main character. And after playing the game a million times, it's nice to look at something different.
But Alistair, Zevran, and Oghren will never be changed. Their looks match their personalities and voices perfectly. I've yet to see a mod that captures them. But I've got the DA redesigned.

Ohoh! Are you going to show the Zev one as well? I actually would love to see it. I'm so lazy when it comes to wallpapers. I just take a screenshot, and voila! Wallpaper! You're actually creative.

My read on Wynne's questioning of your relationship is a bit of projection + Chantry programming. She was more or less forced to live a celibate life devoted to the Circle and reconciled herself to it, so she thinks the Grey Warden should do the same even though the circumstances are different. She is especially concerned if you're messing with Alistair, her proxy son.
As people said, put her in the party with Alistair and listen to their banter. It will change your view, just as it did Alistair's (who thought the same you did)
This bit:
- Alistair: So tell me, you have any children? Grandchildren? I don't know, great grandchildren?
- Wynne: What would make you think I have any children at all? You have to know I've spent most of my life in the Circle of Magi.
- Alistair: You just seem like the grandmotherly type to me, I don't know.
- Wynne: I suppose I'll take that as a comment on my demeanor and not my age.
- Alistair: Mages aren't forbidden to marry or anything, are they? It's not such an outlandish question.
- Wynne: Isn't it? What sort of man would marry a mage, do you think?
- Alistair: How about another mage? There are just as many men as there are women within the Circle, as I recall.
- Wynne: That sort of union is... not encouraged.
Although that does not stop us from seeking out each other's... company
from time to time.
- Alistair: I... all right, suddenly you don't seem quite so grandmotherly to me anymore.
- Wynne: Good. I would hope not.
and this bit:
- Alistair: You know, of all the mages I've met you have to be the first one I can honestly say I've really liked.
- Wynne: Why thank you, Alistair. I am quite touched. I
like you, too, Alistair. I imagine my son would have grown up to be
someone like you.
- Alistair: Your son? I thought you said you were never married?
- Wynne: That's true. I never have been.
- Alistair: I... oh. Then this wasn't... before you joined the circle?
- Wynne: I joined the Circle at the age of nine. So, no. Do you still like me?
- Alistair: Err... yes? Why wouldn't I?
- Wynne: Good. It appears you got away from the Chantry just in time.
Wynne was deffinitly not celibate. She had no life partner, but she would sleep with people when she felt like it.
Guess that is not too different from other organizations/situations were people all live together and can't avoid each other. A "real" relationship could always end badly and this is a problem when the two parties can't avoid each other afterwards. When the two are mages with imense power at their fingertips, things are even worse.
- Alistair: So you... mentioned you had a son? What happened to him?
- Wynne: I honestly don't know, Alistair. He was... taken from me. Such births are seldom, as there are ways to prevent it, but it does happen. And any child born to a Circle mage belongs to the Chantry.
- Alistair: I... didn't know. I'm sorry.
- Wynne: It's all right. It was a long time ago. A very long time ago.
- Alistair: Couldn't you do something about it?
- Wynne: Do what? I was weak from the birthing process and there were... no, there was nothing I could do.
- Alistair: Do you think about him?
- Wynne: All the time.

Yes, I left that part out, as we had been talking about celibate mages and I didn't feel it would add anything on the argument of how much of a sex life Wynne had

No one here says that the companions have had wonderful lives. But you have to wonder why she is such a circle tool, down to trying to convince the MageWarden to return to the circle afterwards, knowing how horrible it is for mages and knowing that the warden doesn't have to.

Yeah, my mage just loooooved hearing that out of her yap, especially a few days after being told to dump him and hours before Wynne's revolting "you in my tent bit."

I posted this before. Wynne is broken. She fought. She lost. It broke her. She lost her son. From her perspective, and she flat out says this, the sooner you accept your horrible lot in life, the less pain you will suffer. Wynne has the perspective of someone who lived under communism. Never openly defy authority. Speak only acceptable platitudes. Game the system for your own best advantage.
I'm not saying she's right. In fact I very much disagree with that point of view. But she has good reasons for her point of view.

Oh, Wynne is broken for sure. And in fact, I find her sympathetic up to a point. I find all the companions broken and sympathetic. What's different about Wynne is her inability to see her own shortcomings. She has an impossible standard that she puts on the Warden, and always disapproves if the warden disagrees with that. Wynne's personal agenda seems to be to "fix" everyone around her.

- Leliana: It must be a wonderful thing, to be able to
weave spells. - Wynne: Wonderful? To you, perhaps. Most do not feel the
same way - Leliana: Oh, what do they know? They are just jealous.
The Maker gives you magic; you must use it. - Leliana: You do it so effortlessly. It's like breathing
for you. I wish I had such talent. - Wynne: Oh, but you do. You have your music, your
dancing. You are more graceful than anyone I've ever met. - Wynne: I think that perhaps the Maker gives us all
magic... but of different sorts. - Leliana: Even Oghren?
- Wynne: Oghren is a dwarf. He doesn't really come from
the Maker. - Leliana: Oh, yes. That explains it.
but I thought according to the chantry every thing was created by the maker...doesnt that include dwarves?

Strange, but I never got the impression she fought the system, at all. Judging by what she says about how she came to the Circle, I'd say that in fact, she embraced it from the get-go.
