New mods are moving threads around without fully understanding things, but I honestly think you are vastly overstating the cultural issues at play. Off Topic is a forum for off-topic stuff, and they've been moving threads here for the three years that I've been a member. I have no idea why there is this need to make a big deal about something that really isn't a big deal.

 

And everyone is welcome in the Off Topic forums, regardless of where they "hang out."

 

 

I'm honestly surprised that so many take something like this so serious, if you don't like a thread then just ignore it and move along.

 

It's bad practise yes to move some of the threads we create in the MEMP forum here, we have been playing this game for years now with no new added content etc, so of course some of us gets a bit bored now and then and create a silly thread - fully intended for the MEMP forum of course, not for this place.

 

But end of the day, these are forums discussing video games, you can't really expect a high intellectual level in everything posted around here.

 

Are you actually complaining that some mods move offtopic threads into the offtopic subforum? That's their job.

 

Let me give you some advice: Only because a thread exists doesn't mean you have to read it or post in it. You don't like ME3 MP threads? Then ignore them.

These are all good points. Ever since ME3mp threads started getting moved here some people seem to take it personal or something. As a person who frequents both sections I hate to see jimmies getting rustled over dumb things. Yes, threads in mp are really stupid and silly but that's the whole point. It's a lot of running/inside jokes that only mp people would understand. But some of the people here are almost making it sound like they're saying, "Oh you're from mp section? You don't belong here" or something along those lines. I personally see it as entertainment that's open for all to join in and have fun. I can also say there are a lot of smart, clever, funny people that I like very much in both ME3mp and off topic. Let's just all have some fun and talk about puppies or something.

Hey, that's hurtful, and I really don't get the filthy adjective. If I don't keep clean I die from a fever because reasons. If I were an OT section poster, I'd probably have reported you for abuse by now, well, after I'd flushed the pool of tears from my helmet.

Unless you are speaking figuratively about other things that go on inside the suit. Nervestim Pro use does tend to gunk up the filters with sweat and other glorious quarian bodily fluids a bit but w/e.
