There are so many that drive everyone crazy, from the old bugs to new to the unborn bugs!

However there is THE ONE that drives me nuts and that is the infinite loop when your trying to join a game from a invite or just to join a session...It starts with the normal joining game, then you hear the voices from the other side tantalizing you, then the game says you're disconnected, you hit ok and it goes back to multiplayer screen and then re-joins the game...rinse and repeat ad neauseum...

Your only exit is quit game that may or may not reboot your console (have not played through PC so not sure what the lasting effects are), which may or may not trigger checking the hard drive....

I see this more often with some players and noticed that they are on west coast of US vs me on east coast, not sure if the ping time regulation somehow never quite decides or if there is something else like gremlins

what is your favorite beef?

I hate it when lag creates duplicate threads, and then some moron replies in both threads.

Yesterday i hit quick match and it just sat there spinning before joining the lobby. After 3 minutes I just quit the game and relaunched.

So I came back in and just started a public lobby and went ahead by myself. No one joined.

The worst bug is the one you are just running around fighting and your character FREEZES.

Not the game.

Just YOUR character.

Then 3 others in a PUG jump up and down on you and demand you open the bash door.

I go on mic and explain my character is frozen and they will need to port to zone 4 to try and fix me.

They all proceed to spam "come to me" on my head and jump up and down some more.

I had to abandon the match....and I was host.

So I hope host migration failed.

More annoying than the key bug days.

Narnia gets me the most.  If it happened to everyone, so the host would have to quit, that would be one thing.  But knowing that I have to quit and lose all my sweet, sweet XP gets me angry.

Really, all the other bugs are just "eh it comes with the territory" stuff.  I've been gaming so long that almost all of them just make me shrug.

There aren't any for me.   Unlike in ME3, because that game iz sirius biznuss.

Magic CTD with no error is irritating though.  Even more irritating going on tech support forum and reading people claim that underclocking components is the answer.

Many to choose from but I'd say at the very end of the match, the match was successful and you are waiting to go back to the lobby and you get the old 'game thinking' busy swirl for too long and then the message that you could not connect to the servers.  Some times after being booted out when you get back you have received your exp and some times not.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned the camera bug when it gets stuck close to your character and makes it impossible to view your surroundings. Don't know how many times I've gotten killed not being able to see what hit me.

(PC user)OK guys i will tell you what may or may not be a secret a temp fix for the looping error message is before you join your friends game go to create a match and make a private lobby just for one sec then right away open origin friends list and join your friends game from there this "temp" fix solves the problem for me 100% also I did open my ports but not sure if that did anything but now days I dont even join a friends game before I do that fix just to make sure I won't get the bug and console users I'm sure you can use this not so much of a fix as well just join from your PlayStation/xbox friend list

Last night I barely got to play at all... First I host and friends are rubberbanding all over the place. Also a new bug happened where we all spawned but only I could move. They were frozen and unable to speak. I join a friend's game and now I'm the one rubberbanding to the point of nausea. Got the instant kick from the lobby bug a few times. Basically the entire time, mics are breaking up and we can barely understand each other. My internet connection was fine. These shite servers are making the game fall apart to the point being unplayable... Hardly even worth it. When your combat strategies start to revolve around how to best deal with and avoid server lag and framerate issues (still looking at you FC 3 and 4) that's not a good sign for your game. Hint hint cough cough BW.

I even got a throwback bug recently... The templar commander "defeat all enemy forces" glitch. We were sitting there with a completed map and the host had to quit out and lose xp (was public) while we redid the level. That brought me some nostalgia in the weirdest way. Note: if players experience more nostalgia over bugs than the game itself...

I would definitely feel zero nostalgia if I killed all the dogs and the key didn't drop. I'd be hearing the sound of my ps3 smacking against the wall.

The loading screen loop is pretty terrible. That's the one that says you can't connect to the game but still keeps trying anyways and keeps the loading screens going on forever until I just force the game to shut off completely.

Definitely the worst bug in the history of DAIMP, and largely what absolutely lost the most players, was dropping the Destruction "DLC" that massively worsened a minor glitch where sometimes a key would not drop, thus preventing you from entering the next zone.

The glitch, now fixed, was not the problem per se. The problem was that they dropped this "DLC" right before closing the offices and going on holiday for a month. Even once they got back, we barely heard any word on what was being done. By the time they got to fixing it in February, most players had moved on to other games because there was no indication that the issue would ever be fixed.

Fortunately, recent changes in developer interaction and game updates has seen more people playing, with is definitely a pleasant change. Conal, Luke, Graham, and others have really stepped up to rectify that issue.

I started getting anxiety pangs last night when at FC and the dogs were spawning on rooftops and behind closed doors.

I took a break from BSN for about a month... But that was like back in March, and didn't really have to do with game bugs or developer interaction.

While the keybug was distressing, I never found it to be anywhere as bad as the Region-lock matchmaking + Black Screen of Death for those who attempt to challenge the system and play cross-region. What is worse is that those aren't bugs but rather self-imposed restrictions which have limited the game's potential to grow.

Nevertheless, the fixing of the keybug as well as the release of the first proper DLC were (the only) milestones which have prevented the premature collapse of DAMP's community.
