When I see people doing 12:30 Gold solos with the GI, it doesn't make me jealous of their ability. It's impressive, no doubt, but I don't sit there wishing that I could do the same thing.
When I saw that Lash though..... that made me feel bad about my current game play level. I dream that someday I'll be able to do that.

Sync kill anecdote: last week I was fighting a dragon in Skyrim, I used the power Become Ethereal (makes it impossible for you to damage enemies, and makes you invulnerable) to avoid being burned by its fire. I think "ha, suck on THAT, dragon." It then swoops down and grabs me with its claws and drops me to the ground. I was Ethereal the whole time. I died anyway.
I have mixed feelings about sync kills like that and like the Phantom one. On one hand, they are just pure bullshit. On the other hand, they are such pure bullshit that they arguably enhance the games they're in by making them funny.
