Gotta second that. The class chests were something that should have been in place ages ago to combat the brutal and unforgiving RNG system. I wish they were permanent at their current pricing.
Maybe unlocked for purchase with gold after reaching a certain prestige rank to create a sort of endgame for players? Available for purchase with platinum at any rank to meet Bioware's monetization goals? I'm sure there's a reasonable way to implement this without breaking the game.

Class chests, along with bees chests, have now disappeared for me (XB1). With the event apparently still running, in fact. YMMV.

I spent 300K on the class chests. Eff yeah I love them. It was a good thing I played it smart about buying chest all of last week.

Everyone would love to see those class chests more often. But I doubt that's a good plan for Bioware, in terms of monetizing the game, so I don't think it will happen anytime soon.
I doubt it will cause any problem for BW nor a good area for them to monetize from. Casual gamers who only wear one outfit per character could complete that task in just one weekend of playing (if they dedicate themselves to it). To that end, they would never need to buy chests again. That's easy enough to do if you play ahead and don't spend all your gold. It'll run you about 100K give or take 50k depending on RNG.
For completionists such as myself who want to have all armors with lvl 19/23 AUs it would take roughly 3.5 Million gold (@5K per chest rate) and about 3 mths of hardcore playing to complete. Casual gamers would have to put in some serious OT or have gold glitch to complete that task.
Accessory/mod purchases isn't something gamers are really known for. The hard-to-get weapons have evaded most ppl so long that I think most don't really care if they get them anymore. If BW came out with special edition or one of kind weapons then I could see ppl buying that stuff.

Some players (don't know if casual or not) must be buying those Plats, otherwise it wouldn't be profitable for BW to invest in the multiplayer. Making a certain (good) type of chest limited to the weekend creates an urge to buy them quickly, which motivates players to spend on the Plats if they didn't have enough gold from playing and the weekend is coming to an end.
If, after 1 year, BW stops supporting DAMP (as they did with MEMP) maybe they won't mind turning those good chests to an everyday thing. Before that, I would be surprised if it happened. Although...

...this sounds good. I don't think it'll happen, but it would be great if I was wrong.

Boys
OT: the dashboard states that the Jar of Bees chests are only this weekend... so maybe the class chests will stay for good?
Wishful thinking is wishful.

Without a concrete deadline and the chance to fail, the weekly challenges would need to be renamed "weekly thing to do at your own pace."

Don't forget to make excuses then start attacking people.
Perhaps we should turn off destruction dlc to prevent the dogs from keeping us from completing the challenge...

I didn't really care about the challenge, I wanted the class chests to stay. They've extended it before so it didn't hurt to ask

God I love a good screamy shaming. Please tell me you are a counselor at an Internet Addiction Rehab Facility. That's my dream job- to get paid for being a hypocrite and forcing people to bow to my arbitrary authority.
Bonus points for yelling at Asians too. Shaming people is most sublime when you can berate them about deep things they really care about, like honor, family, and society at whole.
Yelling at Americans is so unsatisfying since all we care about is big t*ts, big di*ks, and God forbid anything is deeper than skin-deep.
