I've seen clips on youtube with Morrigan and Alistair or Loghain at Skyhold and they have a short convo about Kieran. But I can't get that conversation to happen.

 

I did the bit in Crestwood and got Loghain to come to Skyhold. Then I did Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts and got Morrigan to Skyhold. But Morrigan remained in her courtyard and Loghain stayed at his spot on the walls where you talk to Hawke.

 

I tried turning the game off and one, and now I can't find Loghain at all. 

 

Is there anything specific you're supposed to do to get them to talk to each other? 

 

EDIT: I turned the game off again, and now Loghain is back in his spot on the wall.

The conversation is very bugged.  It's meant to trigger when they're both at Skyhold and you've spoken to Morrigan.

 

Sometimes characters vanish.  Save and reload on top of the tower should bring him back.

I did it that with Loghain and Morrigan, but I had a program that could alter my save and change the flag about Morrigan being pregnant to "true" because it's set as "false" and sometimes her son doesn't even show up in the end credits. It is a simple flag and easy to fix, but it was never fixed with a patch, and the player has to do it manually and with risk to file corruption.

 

I wondered why the heck Kieran didn't appear in the epilogue during my second playthrough!

 

Thanks for that. I thought I read somewhere they had fixed the bug, but apparently not.
