Now that Xbox 360 games will be backwards compatible with the Xbone, will you play ME3MP if it will be one of the games? What if it means starting over? I'm hoping it will allow Xbox 360 save imports but even if it doesn't I'll probably still play.

Depends on if these mofos at microsoft send me a new eckbawks juan. If they don't cover it dying before a year is up then I'm probably done with console.

Since 360 can display in 1080p, but XBone can only display in 720p, ME 3 will actually look better on 360.

 

And no, I'm definitely not starting new manifests, anymore. I've already got everything out of that experience that I'm going to get.

I don't really want to start over but I would. I would play it for fun this time without worrying about the unlocks as much although I think it would be easier this time though.

If I have to start over, I won't be moving.  Hell, I just started playing again after 2 years off, and other than missing the game, the main reason I did it is so I will start out with all of the weapons when the remastered version comes out.

PS4 can't do it because the architecture is way too different from PS3 to PS4, now XBox should have had it all along.

How about this, if you can keep all of your character customizations and weapon levels, but you lose your challenge points, would you replay it then? I would.

Watch this. Sounds like this is all Microsoft and not in the hands of the companies themselves.
Edit: Microsoft even played the demo to Mass Effect in this video.

In any case, I don't plan to upgrade (to either xbone or PS4... haven't quite decided) until I'm actually done with my 360 games, so I most likely won't play ME3 at that point. Especially since the next ME game sounds like it will have a comparable multiplayer.

Starting over is actually kinda fun, in an obviously masochistic way. You should have seen my reaction to finally unlocking the Claymore as my last non-UR!  All I need now is a Shotgun Omniblade and I'm good to go.

 

It's a good move by Microsoft.  I'd assumed my next console would be a PS4, and while it probably still will be, this would definitely make me think twice.  As has been said, it's unlikely Sony will go down a similar path, which is a particular pity for all us PS3 ME3 Collector avoiders.

There is no guarantee that ME3 will make the list.  ME1 is different because it actually was a Microsoft product, and it was announced as being backwards compatible during MS's presentation.  EA is doing their conference now.

Mass Effect 3 MP is run by EA not XBL, so for MP to work would require some participation by EA

 

Which means the Mass Effect games would likely be single player only on XBox One

 

Whereas Resident Evil Revelations 2 MP would only require Capcom saying "OK" and I could play on 360 with a player on XBox One

Most likely very well be true, I'm hoping since the next ME game will be late next year that they make the current MEMP playable on Xbone.
