 overused sci fi trope used as a Lazarus-type plot device in order to handwave the original trilogy and disregard the established setting.

The music was very unfitting for the Mass Effect setting, and judging by the title this kinda confirms it won't be a trilogy, but a stand alone title.

As expected they are dumping the Milky way and the Trilogy with it

Its expected (after the endings) but its still kinda sad

I thought the leak details mostly sounded interesting, so the Andromeda confirmation is great news. I'll be looking forward to hearing more about the game.

 

Anyone else really underwhelmed that that's all we got?

 

Getting more info would be great, but I was only expecting a teaser trailer.

He is...also the trailer music likely isn't going to be part of the game's soundtrack. People concerned that it didn't have a Mass Effect vibe, likely don't need to worry.

I guess going to the Andromeda provides the best possibilities for new races, places and premises. But it does appear to be a new science fiction IP with the Mass Effect name plastered over it.

 

I don't know, it's doubtful that I'm gonna be into it...
