ME: Andromeda to be released Holiday 2016. How do you feel about this? I am not to sure. This means that it could delay into early 2017.....

'Andromeda' is the last subtitle I expected. 'Holiday 2016', on the other hand, has always been my guess. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if it was pushed back to early 2017 eventually.

That is my fear. I mean do you honestly believe they will not delay the game? Look at what happened to DAI.
This also confirms NO gameplay demos this year and that it would be held for next year's E3. ![]()

Ew.
They wrecked one galaxy so we gotta migrate to another one? Can' wait to see what hand waving is used to justify THIS dose of space magic.
Seriously why is this even called Mass Effect? Because it has omniblades and a Mako?

So it DOES take place in the Andromeda galaxy.. But the trailer has brought up MANY questions for me... Hopefully we can get some answers at E3. No gameplay? Fine. I want some information about the story, character...

With how the internet has reacted to information that has changed during development and a Holiday 2016 release I doubt we will get any real information for at least another six months to a year.

Anyone else disappointed that that was it? That's all we got.
Again, looks like we will have to endure another full year of cryptic twitter updates by the developers and concept Art.
Also that Holiday 2016 release date isn't going to stick, expect it to delay to early 2017.

Instantly my most anticipated game of 2016. Hopefully it meets the hype although the hype failed me with DAI.

I want to have high hopes for this game, but honestly, I'm not too sure if that is a great idea.

I'll be honest it looks like a new IP rather than a ME title.

Hey, you were the one who was always saying that he didn't want to live with the consequences of ME3's ending. As the saying goes, be careful what you wish for....My feelimgs:
Ew.

I'm actually not too worried about Andromeda being a DA:I clone in the ME universe. It has been seven months since DA:I released and and ME: Andromeda is still at least a year and a half away from shipping. That is two years to process the all feedback on DA:I, of which there was no shortage, about it's side content being disappointing or the lack of cutscene/cinematic dialogue with NPCs making the game less immersive than previous DA titles.
That's a whole lot of time to get things right that DA:I got wrong.

I also said this was the wrong way to go about it. This is just plain wasteful.

That or Bioware wont listen to feedback and criticism. They've done that a few times.

Oh shutup sniffles for the past three years you have been crying about how you hated the ending of ME 3 and how you wanted the next game to distance itself from it Well a new galaxy is't distant enough for you? Sniffles (that is your name now btw) at this point you are whining just to whine.

No, this was the only way to go about it.
At least if you desperately wanted it set after ME3. I would've been fine with an interquel.

To be honest, after I saw trailer I feel...nothing. No hype, no dissapointment, I just don't feel it's ME game. Mako human only protagonist, and N7 sign it's not enough to create "It's ME game" feelings. Andromeda it's like totally different SF IP.
Anyway it could be a good game, but I doubt, if leaked story is true, I will be as much in love with this game as I was into ME Trilogy.

Well I probably should forget that's Mass Effect Andromeda and think about this just as Andromeda. Im still playing ME Trilogy and it's hard for me to throw away everything I knew about ME world, forget about my Shepard and Normandy, and places I loved, and everything what makes ME Trilogy great game for me. I should give Devs a chance...but after a few dissapointment it's hard ![]()
