So are the dolls in the shop windows. I don't know why people still put them there, because people complain all the time about them looking unnatural.

Fixed.
This was one reason, why I stopped with DAI MP. Many DC and lags.
Warning MASSIVE SPOILERS.
I was looking around a website and found a picture of the ship.

If Kevin Sorbo isn't the voice-actor and model for MaleShep Male...Whomever in MEA then I will ragegel ragequit cancel my preorder.
Maybe this was the Council's Plan B provided the Reaper War didn't turn out right.
That could explain being completely removed from knowing what happened in the trilogy and would give them a way to send most of the known races forward into the next game.

I've thought about that too. I think that any civilization whom survival is at risk would resort to this kind of plan. The Protheans used this type of strategy too.
Soft reboot was the way to go, I'm too happy, they put the Shepard-story behind.
However now that it is really going to be a pathfinder-focused game, I really hope they make it a good one, the ME1-style wasn't really my cup of tea with the copy-paste underground compounds and the annoying mountain climbing.
All of this was because of budget reasons. Why it was dropped for the next two games since back then it was impossible to make the graphics so detailed for an ME1 style exploring other planets way.
So yeah, of course there will always be shortcuts developers have to take just to be able to meet deadlines and release the game already. Even Skyrim like open world games have tricks that re-use a lot of the same data/textures etc.
But yeah, you just have to put yourself in the developers shoes to start seeing and understand this sort of thing.
As much as I´d like to jump on the hypemako, one and a half year is a bit too far away.
Who cares. I'd rather they get it right this time.
But yeah, I really wish this teaser trailer came much later. Like a month before release.
Judging by the trailer/teaser/whatever-that-video-is, the game looks more like a spin-off with the intent to make some cash than an actual and meaningful part of the ME franchise. I have opposed the idea of a new ME tittle since the ending of ME3 didn't leave any room for a reasonable continuation.
But hey, who cares about the SP part of the game anyway. As long as the MP is a 1/5 as good as ME3MP, I am in. Where do I pre-order it?
If only that original head lead writter of ME1 wasn't replaced, the ME series universe would of been so much better for all, BioWare, EA and fans alike. I hope someone can start a petition to bring him back. Seen all the interviews with him in the ME1 special edition and he seems like the ultimate nerd/sci-fi/fantasy fanboy I've ever seen. Having a writer like this at the helm is good.

Man, I just ran out of like again.

Maybe like a cryogenic type launch where you would be completely disconnected from what's going on for a long time. Basically awake out of your time, out of your element but have some connection to past events. It's a pretty intelligent dodge on the ending because your characters do not know the ending and are removed from the ramifications of the ending.

^ That's a great idea. So hopefully Shepard returns with the "I'll find my own way." Ending.
PS- I love Mark Meer's voice as commander Shepard. Doubt anyone will replace him as the best ME hero.

Exactly. I imagine a trip starting during the events of ME3 and ending 200 years later or something like that (a guy from Bioware says in the new section of the forum that the story of ME : Andromeda takes place long after ME3). The first scene of the new game could be the waking up of the new main protagonist after his cryogenic sleep, in an unknown planet of an unknown galaxy. Exploring this new environment with the Mako could be the first mission...
I find this new setting quite exciting, now I hope that the story will be as good as it was in the previous games...

Good. Good. I like it. It would allow to pack an Asari into the fridge and reactivate her. I think in one of Lem's stories they use some kind of variation of the fridge and they "hibernate" in some liquid.
So when the main character helps out his Asari crewmate from that tube with the glossy liquid... I can see that it's already great crewbuilding.
Characters need bigger baby feeders...

That's what the sequels are for. You can't have enormous boobs in the first game or you have no where to go from there.
Quarians not confirmed? This is more bullshit than getting reported and banned by bronies.
Preorder cancelled.
^ Someone needs a hug.
btw holidays is december ? in french it wld be summer
When you think about it, this lays the groundwork for some very interesting technological advances. You've got Salarians, Quarians, Humans, Asari, Turians working together scientifically. Can you imagine the armor they could put together? Perhaps Quarian battlesuits?

mannequins freak me out tbh.

Ironically, all the guys wanted to do when they placed the doll into the showcase was to present the product from the best angles.
The trailer gave me a borderlands vibe, given how bad DAI was I will hold off pre-ordering until I know more
I'm really not impressed. That was 2 minutes of concept art and fallout trailer music. It didn't tell us anything new.
This. They gave nothing away and there was nearly nothing to get hyped about... Well, JETPACKS!... (where have I seen those before...
). If they're ripping off ideas from other games ie. Borderlands, Fallout, Halo etc., it kind of shows up the fact that Bioware have indeed ran out of ideas... Anyway, nothing in that trailer got revealed or was proven to not be in the next game, but with it being based in Andromeda, it kind of worries me that they are just going to select the races and lore from the trilogy that suits them and whitewash whatever lore or race doesn't fit in with their new story...
It just seems like a lazy way to explain what happened post-ME3 and the fact that it's MEA and not ME4 kind of reminds me of Gears Judgement... Anyone remember how much that sucked compared to Gears 3? I hope this isn't just a cash grab, but what little info we have seems to be pointing in that direction... Also, no mention of the MP yet... ![]()
Jetpacks=Turians confirmed.
