Well if the leak is legit, it's probably Remnant tech (beacon ?) 

 

 

I actually don't think so.  It reminds me of Citadel/Alliance tech.  I think we're gonna see a game somewhat similar to DAI in terms of acquisition/holding.

I love the song, but it is an odd choice ... unless it's a hint at the story, seeing as "Ghost Riders in the Sky" is a cautionary tale. (Or maybe it's just Wagon Train to the stars, aka Star Trek:TOS.)

Well, Bio promised us a customizeable Keep with DAI, but failed to deliver. Don't get your hopes up, just yet.

 

They have said we build colonies and customize our ship, but 1) the colony thing will probably be nothing like Fallout's Rust-style base building and 2) no way a spaceship is as customizable either. I'd rather they just focus on the side content though, I play Fallout and Mass Effect for different reasons.

Multiple playable species was literally one of THE most requested features for the next Mass Effect game. Even DA:I had multiple playable species.

I just think even for a CGI Teaser reveal it kinda blew. Just a bunch of generic looking N7 troops running around. It was all very generic. I don't even like the title all that much. Mass Effect Andromeda doesn't really roll off the tongue. I was almost expecting Mass ____ with the Effect replaced with something else. Or for them to just say screw it and call it Mass Effect 4. But Mass Effect Andromeda kinda makes it sound like a spin off, not the next real step in the franchise. And it doesn't seem like they're playing to make a trilogy out of it, which is one of the things people loved so much about Mass Effect.

 

The game will probably be really good, but I felt like they could've handled that A LOT better. It's been 3 years since Mass Effect 3. The reveal for ME4 should've blown the lid off the place.

It's going to be all new races in an all new place. Without things like the Citadel, Anderson, Turians, etc... it's not Mass Effect to me.

 

I think that turians are pretty much a guarantee, but Anderson is a curious add here, because no matter what you do, he dies at the end of 3. You'd basically have to play as a prequel character to get him back.

I'm definitely excited. The trailer looks amazing and I love the concept art. They have Mass Effect written all over them.

I am so excited to get to play in the Mass Effect universe without the constant pressure of fighting Reapers. Also at the unlimited potential of exploring a new galaxy. Next year and a half will be a long one.

I'm waiting since july 2012 when i finished the game( i also play all dlc) my waiting will be shorter but nonetheless....1 and half years is long

The Alien planets did look very good. I have my doubts about whether focusing on exploration is good for the game, but at least we will have pretty scenery while doing so.

Travelling through the galaxy/universe has certainly changed! The pilot just plotted a course (supposedly) from one galaxy to another and was there through a different means of travel. A wormhole, perhaps? A different technology?

 

And what about those tall buildings that erupted from the ground? They looked Prothean. Or at least bore a close resemblance to them.

I think the ship went just from one solar system to another, not galaxy to galaxy. That's happened in the previous games. 

 

According to the leak, those tall structures are from an extinct race called the Remnant.
