Seriously! All that advance navigation/flying tech and we can't use an ati-grav capable exploration vehicle with hovering capabilities?  We need to use a mechanical one with wheels?  Sure, I like the Macko concept from ME1 but, guys, what ever happened to Bio's famous line about "innovation"? Is flying over terrain not a Frostbite 3 feature?

We've had that argument here a lot. My impression is that Mako fans have a plurality, with the rest split between players who want a hovering/flying kind of thing and players who want to skip the whole business and use the shuttle for everything.

So I watched the trailer... Unfortunately, I believe this trailer was a really bad start for new ME promotion... What did I see? Shepard mk2, Reapers mk2, advanture without any meaning, original ME Trilogy thrown away and forgotten as if it was a mistake which shouldn't be released at all. After all these years of waiting I see a trailer of new ME that doesn't enspire me. This is not what I expected at all... Disappointment...

 

Well, let's see what they are going to show regarding new ME in near future. Maybe there will be at least something positive.

Yeah, Liara probably should be the link for a future game. Set far enough into the future that everyone who isn't her should be dead... the problem here is the same issue New Vegas had with playable epilogues -- the changes are so galaxy altering between the three endings (amazing that I'm saying that considering the cupcake stunt -- remember that? Three colors, all the same flavor? -- but it really is true now that we know the galaxy hasn't been atomized) that it'd be hard to create a story that would be the same in any one of the three. I mean, benevolent Reapers could squash a lot of threats that no-AI-galaxies would shake at. Also f**k Synthesis.

A post from the Liara Blue and True thread where I was commenting on the issues the next game would have... well, I'll give them this much, they figured out how to invalidate THAT concern. (Also f**k Green Space Magic still. ) You just have to explain to me how they get humans to Andromeda and I'll be fine with this. (Star Trek said it would take thousands of years at their maximum warp speed to get there, which is something like 1500c.)

It is? Sounds intriguing to me, to be honest good races vs. evil races is at least as tiring, is it not? I loved Saren, for instance. He saw things in a twisted way, but they kinda made sense. "Is submission not preferable to extinction?" Always loved that line.

 

I doubt it'll happen, though. He's seen with whom we assume to be Cora and Drack, who should, according to the leak, be part of our squad. Then again, it could be before he becomes an adversary, of course.

Happy we've got confirmation that it is Andromeda. Best option of bad bunch.

Would have preferred N7(vastly preferred SPECTRE as a concept) stay in the Milky Way but resigned to its return already.

Have to say i hope when more is released at end of the year we get something akin to DAI's trailer voiced by Morrigan, which will at least give us some story concept to dig our teeth into.

He could possibly sacrifice himself so they escape. After he is captured and rigorously interrogated so that the Khet learn of the presence of humanity (need a term for milky way species) in the Helius cluster.

Or perhaps the best idea to not disrespect player choices. I'm very happy that we're going to Andromeda, this way all the choices I've made in the Trilogy still matter in the Milky Way and we can get a new story in Andromeda.

Well you had the leak months ago and they showed off some concept art last E3, so it only makes sense to tease some more stuff and give us something to talk about.
